I can't seem to find this in RC4 ?
Will it be included at any point ?

How unlucky am I, haven't had the vfd set up for quite some time no (IRTrans) when I stumbled upon this plugin, so I activated it and tried out the pulsing bars while listening to some music. But I didn't even finish the first song before the display started acting up showing a bunch of nonsens and when I rebooted the box, the display died completly :-( The logs didn't say anything about what had happend so I guess the display simply died on me :-/

I don't know what happened here either.. I was using one of the RC3 SVNs and my imon VFD display was working properly, until suddenly it just got totally screwed up. It just shows some random characters. It's not totally dead, because when the system is idle the characters don't change at all and when MP is running and i go through the menus or play a file the characters change.

I updated to RC4 and its still screwed up. I also uninstalled imon and re-installed it, but it's still the same. I can't get it to show anything "readable", not through MP nor the imon frontview software

The display now works correctly for me.

I can use the remote con. without problems and the display does also work.

My Imon display dose not work with minidisplay, so pleace add the "Soundgraph iMon VDF USB Driver V1.0" to minidisplay, now that external display is removed in RC4.

New driver is an enanchement of this old one. So please report here the config used in MiniDisplayLibrary + iMON software + iMON firmware and attach a clean Configuration.log ( delete it, open configuration->plugins->MiniDisplay->configure->test->save log).

but when you force it to be a VFD, seems to work fine based on provided log.

If i selected in advance "autodetect" the imon remote works perfect but there is no text on vfd... while if i selected in advance "VFD" there is a delay of 20-30seconds in which the remote works as mouse only and after 30seconds remote works good and in this case the text is on VFD... why?
p.s. can i send a personal message in italian language?

This is using IRTrans with the latest drivers installed, dated 11.09.08 (IRServer v5.12.08 - USB driver v2.02.04 - VFD driver v2.6.0) and running as service. The logs seem OK to me, or are they?

Using RC4 with updated minidisplay from this thread. The plugin is unable to display some nordic letters "ð æ". I tried removing the translate definitions from the xml file, but that did not work. Any idea how to display them? Cyberdisplay can display them just fine.

Otherwise, the plugin works great. XP2 SP2, mprc4, thermaltake dh101 (imon 7.40, lcd 2 + plus volume knob & front buttons)
