Mix generic RSS-feeds and youtube chanels in one "site"? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm currently working on setting up the sites I want, but I'm having some issues.

Is there a way to have a mix of "genericsite" and youtube channels in one "site"?

Only if you implement a new SiteUtil that would be able to handle those. Unless you can get valid rss feeds for youtube channels as well?

Ok, thanks for the quick response, is there some other way to remove one "layer" when browsing the groups?


Example:

I have added Machinima's youtube channel as it's own "youtube-site"
I have placed this inside the "Gaming" group
When I open OnlineVideos I get the list of groups
I then choose "Gaming"
And next "Machinima"
But at this point I have to press "Machinima" once again before I get to the actuall content.

Is there a way to set it up so that it goes

Online Videos -> Gaming -> Machinima -> Content

instead of

Online Videos -> Gaming -> Machinima -> Machinima -> Content

And also, is there a way to not have the Youtube categories show up the way they do when I open "Machinima"?

If it is just one category it will be automatically skipped.
On your Machinima Site you need to configure the Youtube option: useDynamicCategories to false - this way it will only have the one category.

I see that it skips it now, it just takes a few seconds before it does so.
