I installed the Plugin accidently under window plugins. No wonder it didn´t work.
Now I get a Massagebox popping up when being called. But it pops up several times and the Media is not stopped but i think I will figure that out too.( figured it out It´s my mobile sending the event over and over again)

Hey boozelclark! I guess either I'm doing something wrong or my phone just doesn't work with your plugin. I think I have a way to figure out if it will work. Could you post the AT commands you use? I'm wondering if I can manually reproduce what you do with your plugin thro hypertermial. If so, then maybe I can find the problem in the code and try my hand at fixing it. Regardless, it should tell me whether or not my Nokia 6102i works with this.

I'm also thinking that I can use this method to do a quick test on some other old phones I have laying around. This way I don't have to swap out my SIM card too much.

On another note, I was thinking of a way to customize the settings for those people who either know their phone's commands or need to tweak them. Maybe an xml file that can be edited? Just an idea.

The plugin works, but it doesn't pause the music or video, while I have checked those in the config.
I'm using MP RC2 right now.
Also; is it possible to let the window show, it appears on the tone and then dissapears and then reapears again on the next tone.

hi sorry i havent replied in a long time. The first thing to do to check if your phone is compatible is to open hyper terminal. create a new connection to the correct com port. then type at into the console. if it returns ok then at commands are supported by your phone. then type at+clip=1 if it again returns ok then called id can be enabled. then call your phone and if "ring" and +clip: "your_number" comes up then the called id works and your phone should be 100% compatible with this plugin. if at+clip=1 does not return ok then try call the phone anyway and if just ring comes up then it shou8ld work but caller id wont work. check the screenshot attached.

With regards to the window which keeps popping up. thats because the phone continually sends the ring command. when i have some time i'll try program a delay in.
sorry about the time it took for a reply hope this helps.

hi that just means the file where your adressbook is located cannot be found. the file needs to be in the media portal directory called "contacts.csv" there's lots of info on how to create the file earlier on in this forum.

That file is residing in c:\program\team mediaportal\mediaportal with that name (Contacts.csv) but it still won't find it.

i'm not entirely sure. is the path above ment to be "program files"
the only other thing i can think of is that has a different hidden file extension? show all your file extenshions if they aren't shown and chech if it's con contacts.csv.txt or something like that. how did you create the file?
