ok. now i got serious problems to get the phone connected with media pc. i don´t think it´s an error of the plugin. i have to delete the phone from bluetooth panel and the media-pc in the devicelist from phone. after add the phone new and connect it with masterkey it works in mediaportal for a while. after 10 minutes (not the same everytime) the connection between phone and media-pc is lost. the phone is listed in bluetoothpanel but there is activity. the plugin in mediaportal doesn´t work anymore. so i´m afraid the standby problem was never a failure from the plugin. !sorry! i don´t know what´s the problem now and how i can fix this. :/
I don't know if this will help, but I've noticed some weird things using bluetooth. First, not all phones are connected to the PC all the time. Some will pair, but not actually connect. For some phones, you have to establish the connection first then use the COM port. I've noticed this when working with my roommate's VX-8550 (new chocolate from verizon) I have a Nokia 6102i and it is always connected to the phone through PC Suite, but the Chocolate needs to be connected for BitPim via a serial port. If I can remember how to capture window screenshots I'll post a pic later.
Now because it seems that the plugin uses DUN for the COM port, this would limit the phones that can be used if a carrier decides to cripple the DUN bluetooth profile for whatever reason (See: Verizon Wireless) I can see some great things for this plugin if you worked with it. I wish I could help, but I don't know coding. I'm a hardware kind of guy.
I do have friends with many different types of phones, so I might be able to get more test subjects for you and further revisions to the plugin. I would think that if the phones use different commands to do the same things, couldn't you start creating a database that stored all the different commands to be pulled on when needed? This way you can manually set what phone you're using and the program would know exactly what to do instead of tossing unneeded commands at a phone. Just an idea.

Thanks a lot. ya i dont think it's the plugin either it's windows which does some strange stuff with the bluetooth connection. does this occur at any specific event (like susbend, sleep or monitor off)? i'll try fix if it i get some time

I just purchased a Bluetooth Dongle and tried to setup the Mobile Call monitor. First of all I got two COM Ports for my Mobile Phone when i Pair it with my pc Com 10 for Outgoing and com 11 for incoming. The Phone is only Paired not connected. (Both M81 and w810i)
But I had no success trying both of the Ports.
So I installed "Free Serial Port monitor" to look what´s going on with my comports when I use the software to sync the phone. It gave me a lot of connections on com10 and 1 short conection on com11 which is closed after a few seconds.
When I start Mediaportal and monitor the ports no connection Is recognised. There isnt even an attempt to open a connection (I set the interval to 10s).
I tried with 2 Phones Benq M81 and Sony w810i.
I guess it has something to do with my Win setup that Mobile Call Monitor wont open the Com Port.
Any Ideas?

i think derspeedy is right. the best method would be to use windows hypererminal (start > Programs> accessories> communications) connect using a com port and type at if it returns ok you have the right port. if this doesnt work with any of the offered ports uninstall any phone software or drivers on the pc. un pair it and then re pair it.
I tried via hyperterminal. It works with Com10 giving OK for at and even fot the at+clip=1. when connecting with hyperterminal the Phone shows it´s connected.
In the guide there is no how to find out wich is the DUN Port it only says "select the DUN Port".
I will try on a different Rig tonight but I allready guess it will be working there since it is working on your rigs.
