Ok, darre i've been testing with blue and it also looks very nice... So i'll change the orange into blue.

PLEASE also keep the orange!
My interior has alot of orange in it and that would look perfect!!!

Or let me know how I can keep the color orange myself.

I just need the help of Psycho Reptile (or another user) and if he agree, we could convert my mockups into a real skin in MP. I could provide all graphics elements, just need help converting the necessary XML files. I'm thinking also to provide the skin using different flavours, that is Orange, Blue, Red and White (monochrome)

Hey, I hope the original Monochrome development continues. It is the one and only skin that has the simplicity I require.

Of course it will. This is just going to be an alternative. A new skin thats inspired by(and maybe built on) monochrome.

I am finding the new 0.7 version much slower than the previous versions, when I have to access submenus (I run it on 1080p monitor.)

Also, for some reason, when I go into a Picture folder, it doesn't show any thumbnails (in filmstrip view.) I can scroll to the right and it just highlights an empty square, and if I select the empty square, it will show the actual photo full screen.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Patricon, I would just have one request for now. If you do make the skin (which by the way look absolutely wicked), can you please make sure it will be easy to change the blue back to orange as in your first screens.
I work a bit with design myself and while a blue version might be more "conformant" so to speak, the orange one is very cool and modern. I don't really know how to explain it, but it looks more trendy and also slightly more thought through (as opposed to just slapping on the regular blueish standard color scheme).

I agree. My first idea was to use orange, because as you, i also think that orange is cool and modern. I'm developing the graphics right now and as i've said in previous post, i'll release the skin in various flavours. Also, i'm wating for someone that could help me with xml's part. I'm very lost using XMLs...

I have no problem with anybody changing/modding my skins . I would prefer if you start a new thread though - it makes it a bit difficult for me to track down Monochrome bugs etc.

Not sure about that topbar problem, but I'll help where I can with the xml stuff, just start a new thread.

If you need any help debugging TV screens, I'll gladly help.
