Are you using MediaPortal 1.0? That looks like it's probably caused by the whole UpdateVisibility problem that's been introduced.

    Hi,

I think you mean "problem that has been fixed". Sorry, but this change was done for a good reason (although not one that I understand!).

It isn't very helpful to the hard-working programmers to suggest that they have introduced a problem. Perhaps the authors of MovingPictures need to contact the team directly. Does this problem affect other skins? Maybe streamedMP is just trying to do things which were never intended.

Open source is great, but sometimes it causes its own problems.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

OK, it wasn't meant to be an attack. I understand the reasoning behind the visibility changes. I was simply trying to answer the question.

Ohh one day away and that many posts ;)
Glad to see the problem is fixed.

Ok: Updated my system description. Indeed I'm using MP 1.0

    Airshark: I'm using UltraVNC. Why?

    Thank you all!

You should not be so defensive, I think he meant nothing by it. Besides, new problems get introduced sometimes, that is the nature of software development. We of course hope to not have "regression issues", but it happens. In this case the MediaPortal team made a change that caused a problem with several existing skins. So be it. The intention I am sure was to fix something else probably only loosly related to this, but regardless of the reason of for the change (which may have been a good reason) it did introduce a new problem. This is a not a criticism of the MediaPortal team, I know they work very hard. This is just a statement of a fact.

As a developer, I appreciate it very much when someone reports a bug in a constructive way. But it is counter productive to ignore a problem out of respect for the development team. The default attitude towards a bug report should not be one of skepticism, but one of curiosity.

    Hi!

The problem that murks_muell are having may be, to some part, due to the new display bug but...
I run 5 different mp machines and it is working on all 5. I'v used 1.0 fresh installation and streamedMP ontop of that.
I've had problems in the past that remaind me of this display issue and it all comes down to resulution issues and since I
started to only use stadard, true, HD-tv res-modes, the problems have gone away.
    '
I have a few other issues with MP1.0/StreamedMP/Moving picture

    1. when I enter moving picture 1:st time after restart, the coverart is displayed strait on, and not at an angle. If i enter detail view on one of the movies and go back again, the cover is at an angle ant it stays that way. I use list view
    2. All backdrops work fine, but if you scroll past one that do not have backdrop, the next one will be displayed for one second, then it will switch to default backdrop.

Anyone else had this problem? Known bug? Have not found anything on this.

btw, I do like this skin and the installation is great!!

    :D a lot!

I think that's normal behavior. You can set the time after which the background should get updated when scrolling through your movies. If this timeout is set to one second the background changes after exatly this time - to the default in your case.

My problem is that I would like to switch from Kodi to Mediaportal. In Kodi, putting an Extras folder in the same folder as the movie automatically manages all the extras on the Bluray, so my library is organized in this way.
