MOving Pictures on main menu (1 Viewer)

Well, it actually depends on the skin you use.
I gathered from your other post that you are using B3W.
And then it also depends if you use the HOME menu or the BASICHOME menu.
If HOME menu, then you can go to MP Configuration, Plugins and right click MovingPictures and select SHOW IN HOME.
If BASIC HOME, then you will need to change the xml files.
Some other skins (like XFactor, StreamedMP, etc) have a menu editor where you can easily generate a BASICHOME menu to your liking.
Which way do you want to go?

When I import new films using Moving Pictures, it takes an incredibly long time for the information to be found and downloaded...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...

I have recently installed mediaportal 1 and all is working fine, however I would like the startup page to be the TV guide. I guess...

Summary / Overview was always empty
Collections were not filtered to official ones
