Yeah, we decided that because this will be kind of a significant version, we ought to change the minor version number, so it will be tagged 0.6 rather than 0.5.6. And yeah a new version is coming soon. You can see what has been completed and what remains for this next release here. There is not much left and all the biggest features have been completed so maybe next week some time? Just a guess, don't hold me to that.

This looks like a very nice plugin, I have now all my movies in MyFilms, but since I often copy and move movies around I need to change each time in Ant movie catalog the source location. I also have a lot of regular DVD's entered in the ANT movie catalog (so movies disc). Will it be possible in future releases to import the ANT movie catalog xml (or enter regular disc info)?

We might implement a one time import feature from an ANT catalog to help people transition easier, but I think this is not going to happen immediately. As for external DVDs, I am not sure, you are not the first person to request this... It's possible to import external DVDs, but right now you have to do them one by one as you insert them into the drive. I will give some thought to this, see if I can come up with something that would work well with our design...

And along those lines..... I see that grabbing local coverart is making the next release which is great. Would it also be possible to import (or at least lookup) the standard My Movies database. I'm not sure what is stored in the My Movies database, but if it links filename to IMDB# already, which I assume it does, it would help dramatically improve the hit rate on the import if you're migrating from My Movies to Moving Pictures. Probably needs to be a user configurable option.

I haven't coded it yet, but I am planning on implementing cover art importing from the MyVideos thumbs folder. I think actual movie data will not happen this time around though.

BTW, is there a function to search for a folder.jpeg/jpg and add this automatically as the coverart in the upcomming version, or does it download new covers for everything as it does today?
