Can someone tell me if there are skin files for Blue3. Can't seem to find any.

Dude just take the file from the download of the plugin, called Default Skin.
movie the files / folders in to your blue3 skin folder

trid the default skin, but its not so good.
At least its no on my htpc. For instance the background graphic is hugh an off the screen to the right.
there are no buttons
the DVD cover art is off tot he right and nearly completely off screen.
Perhaps I will try it again incase I did something wrong..I would not be surprised if I had.

Hi Rickyg,

what resolution are you working with? The default skin files are for 16x9. Sounds like you need the 4x3 files.

I noticed that 0.5.6 version has been skipped and next release will be 0.6.0. Guess it was a smart move since there are a LOT of fixes and new features!

The good news are that we are almost there

newbie needing help

this is a great plugin, i am just starting off with my first media pc, (followed phil's guide etc) i have run into a small issue with the plugin, need help. I am not a techie, but decently savvy, so be gentle on the technical verbage.
i ripped all my dvds to my hard drive with copydvd 2009. separate folders for each movie , each folder has the various video files. i wanted the chapter search capabalities, hence i ripped the dvd as a whole(not compressed or converted). the plugin reconizes the movie correctly , got all the coverart and backdrops, looks fantastic and i am getting excited to give it a run.
The issue i have is that the plug-in will only play the introduction (FBI warning, studio logo etc. ). I see that the file path in moving pictures config only shows the first video file as well. any way of specifying the whole folder with the various chapters and files.
Using Powerdvd as my internal codec and player.

Yeah, it still contains pretty much the same stuff that was targeted for 0.5.6, but based on what's included, we decided a full point version increase would make more sense. It's just naming though, we didn't actually skip a release, we just renumbered the next one.

Hrmm, that does not sound right. The plug-in currently will automatically grab the video_ts.ifo file as the primary file to play back when it detects a DVD image. If that is not the correct "primary IFO file" then there is an issue. I think the assumption was that video_ts.ifo is always the correct file to play and if this is false then there is a bug. With the movies giving you problems, what is the filename of the IFO needed to be played back to get the menu to show up?

Internal Player

Again newbie issues, previous reply...the plugin installs correctly, but will not play, i think it has to be my internal player. I installed it at first using phil's guide (KMPlayer, Haili Splitter AVC corecodec etc.) that did not work, so now i have cyberlink powerdvd ultra 8, does anybody know the settings i need to apply to MP config to work, also i am using 4 x 3 ratio. I have searched a lot of threads, but there is no clear cut settings..

Hi, I have a new problem with moving pictures (I think since RC3)

this strange view appears after stopping a movie
if I restart mediaportal the view will be as always

I'm having the same problem using the aeon skin.

i mostly don’t have the gray behind the letters
so its hard to read, description, and read title, also when i click one time to see more info on movie, i cant see the text, many times.
its like the CSS, style or what ever is gone. and its just fanart, and letters on top

Is this a known bug? Or is it only me?
Im using skinn: Indego 2.2.. and have copy to the folder the skinn files from Moving Pictures to Indego, skinn folder

I added the bug to Google Code

Furthermore, is it possible that you add a feature to manage orginal dvds with moving pictures?
So that the plug-in asks me to insert the dvd from the movie.
Because it would be great to add all films which I have on DVD/HDD to MP.
