ok i find the problem, i launch a serie... i stop, put the tv...and the clock is freeze !!
so the pb come from MP tv series plugin...

Sorry to disturb you .i have a "bug ?"
So , My Platform is in WINDOWS 8.1 32 bit. MP 1.6.0
I have MP , i start with 1.2.0 and all work fine so I update 1.5.0 to 1.6.0 ...all is OK.(videos , series, tv , music..)

But, every morning, my wife go down for the baby (milk), start the tv with MP 1.6.0
tv working, it's 5h09 in morning. (yesterday is the same scenario with 3h12 in night).
i Wake up at 7h00 , i look the tv, the clock in MP show 5h09 ??????????? ....
i stop tv, (in MP with the remote), i start it... i have sound but no pictures.
so just restart MP, and all is good...
every morning, the same scenario.

NB: just for information , i live the same pb in full day, and i Watch an episode from series in the afternoon, the first time in the day) and every evening.
i try to restart MP after see an episode, and look in morning....if MP clock freeze, but i think it's a link with MP TV Series.

the log doesn't show anything, just the MP start at 5h09 .... my wife don't do anything ans don't restart it.. so when she put TV on (in MP) , the log show a ..Wake up ???, ans start MP..but freeze clock and tv after..
i don't know how i can explain the problem, but it's very strange. in MP1.50 no problem, and i don't touch anything.
i put the log in debug mode to find something.
if someone have an idea.

I answer tomy post...i have a really bug

so first step before, i clean all the installation, reinstall Windows 8.1 and reinstall MP 1.6.0
for information, before 1.6.0 never problem, i always upgrade.. 1.23 1.3.0 1.4.0 1.5.0 ...all work good.
the upgrade to 1.6.0 show the freeze clock and TV

So now it's a clean installation 1.6 with MySQL 5.6
the TV is TNT (DVB-T)

All work.. i don't install MP TV series.... (for test of course)
3 days after..all work, suddenly i see that i forgot to add 3 channel in DVB-IP (freebox).
so i enable DVB-IP in TV-server configuration, scan my channel, add it in tv channel.

i test...all work good ....30 channel in DVB-T, 3 channel in DVB-IP

the day finish, go sleep. Wake up 5h00 o'clock, switch on TV a 5h11 ... 20 minutes later i come with my coffée......the clock stay to 5h11. /////

stop TV (remote mce), start TV...and the bug appear, nothing, black screen, just the sound and the clock freeze.
i must to restart MP.

So ? conflict with DVB-IP and DVB-T ? , clean installation, no plugin, no problem 3 days ago.. just enable DVB-Ip.
the bug like the dvb-IP virtual card sleep if we don't use it a long time...and when we use MP, freeze appear...

For the moment i disable DVB-Ip, and wait for see.....

the log doesn't show anything... just the log file is new one at 5h11 (when i switch on tv)....maybe a sleeping problem ?

So, i resintall all MP in clean installation , i disable DVP-IP card , (only DVB-T card working), .. and bug alway exist.

i put debug mode and watchdog., for you research, and join you the log (see log "BAK" for yesterday 23h55)

yesterday the 11 jannuary , i stop my series, i put TV ON.
watching TV, and at 23h55 i stop it.
go to take a chocolate, come back, the clock freeze in 23h55 !!!
TV...only sound, videos , same state,..no picutre, and clock freeze, must to restart MP.

Please...help..the log is join , generate by Watchdog.

What time did you come back?
TV (TF1 HD) is stopped at 23:55:43, but nobody attempts to tune any channel again until 06:13:51. So, do you mean that you stopped TV (TF1 HD) at 23:52:38?

TV...only sound, videos , same state,..no picutre, and clock freeze, must to restart MP.

The MP log files are useless. Nothing except:

Hello that i explain you ....
i stop TF1 HD at 23h55...choclote only 1 minute (in microwaves)
. and after nothing answer, clock is freeze in MP.
i make alt+tab, systeme is OK, clock is 23h58 ..but alt+tab to return in MP, 23h55 !!

no log, no sign... must to restart MP.
i restart it in 23h59/0h00 i think and i go to sleep.
i tv on at 6h13 the morning. but i know when i restart MP, is a new log writing.

TVlog don't show anything...., in MP1.5.0 i never live this bug. i have it when i update to 1.6

the only trace i have is the TSSERVICE .log

the only trace i have is the TSSERVICE .log

The TVService.log file is useless to me. What I would need to see is the MediaPortal.log (and TsReader.log if you tried to start TV).

Please set MP log level to debug:

...then, next time the problem happens:

1. Try to start TV.
2. Close MP.
3. Use the watchdog with option 3 to post log files.

the next time, if i can , i make you a video , to show you... it's amazing..and is not Windows, because is working good if i tab in it.

Sorry, a video will not help. I understand what you are describing already... but I need to see the MP log file to know what is happening.
