MP plugin for Video Transcoding (1 Viewer)

In Windows XP there's a possibility to change the priority of a process. Wouldn't it be a good idea to set the priority of the transcoding process to something like "bellow normal"? So the transcoding wouldn't interfere with the normal work of MediaPortal.

Hi Fabrice,

Any update on using with the TVE3 DB? ie so the scheduler goes off and compresses recorded TV automatically? This would be great to save having to remember to run it as forgetting for a week or so end up with a fairly full HDD and a long compression job ahead. Other than my memory issues I think this plugin is a great assett to MediaPortal

I have just installed the latest SVN with media transcoder, and this plugin works beautifully, only criticism is the compression GUI doesn't cope to well with long file names. Minor irritant though.

Hi All,

Sorry for long absence (i need to remake my kitchen for my wife and so take long time , i am bad in plumbing ;-).

The new version is finish since few week , but i finalize the tests because i change lot of stuff.

I hope publish the next version for the next week end. Sorry for this report.

Listen to Paranoid Delusion he speaks much wisdom, I am in the throes of building an extension to our home with new flooring in the dining room through sun room and a completely new kitchen. My wife is a wreck. She gets so emotionally involved in the decision making process of which floor with which counter top. Personally I could give a toss, I just want it done and out of the way so I can get down to some serious TV watching before the summer is totally over. However, I am smart enough to humour her and give in to her small demands whilst neatly deflecting the multi thousand dollar requirements. Hopefully we can get through the summer without any major fights.
