MP plugin for Video Transcoding (1 Viewer)

I still have the offsync issues with ffmpeg. Now I use the tv server and I record mpeg files, so the problem is not in dvr-ms itself. Tomorrow i'll try with mencoder.

Isn't any ffmpeg option to set a A/V synch-frame every 2 minutes?

i change some framerate and other otpion, can you test on the same video with profile High quality, thanks

Hello,

This is the one feature that I have always wanted in MP!

I am having a strange problem though: I am only getting the first 20ish minutes encoded of films as long as 3 hours.

Could their be any reason for this?

I am using the SVCD quality setting on default encoder.

yes it is strange, to understand the problem could you to do, please :

- set the level DEBUG for log (in configuration.exe -> General)

- Relaunch the transcoding and when the job is finish , can you post the log of mediaportal,

today I tried with HQ Profile.
The transcoding seems to be stuck at 49% (first pass).

p.s. As you can see now schedule works

p.p.s. I came back home at 18.55, see the transcoder plugin windows at 49%, see the log stuck since 11 am and I came here to write this message. Anyhow, as you can see in the log, after my activity the second pass started (but I have not hit any key in the plugin interface).

I thank you very much for your effort. Anyway, I probably won't use it anymore. Maybe my system (2.8 Ghz P4) is too old, but I left my PC this morning at 8.00 with a 2 hour movie to encode and when I came back at 18 the progress was at 20% of second pass (HQ profile), with no possibility of use the pc (ffmpeg process takes all the resources).

The strange fact is that the same encondig (2 pass xvid) with AutoGK takes less than 4 hour on the same system, and as I have to compress 2 movie a day it's the only possible solution.

Anyhow, thanks again and see you when iìll change my system to a more powerful one!

Hi Pierremenard,

I just identify a bug in the thread pool with MP api, i will change this code ( i will use mime thread manager)

The problem affect the launching of second pass ,sometimes the second pass is block or freeze, or doesn't start

i finish to fix it and i publish other version the next week

Fix the problem:

1. the hangup of scheduler (describe by pierremenard)
2. the problem in settings to sepcify the output path in the profile (describe by MSMP)
