Hi Pierremenard,

have you time to test new version and verify the scheduler problem is fixed ?

Thanks

Hi,

I've tested the output path; Unfortunately, I still have the same issue that the output to a second hard drive seems not to work. Once the path set per profile. It seems not to be there the next time you go back in that profile the word "true or false" will appear instead of the chosen path.

The schedule option, I haven’t tested yet. I will to do some testing the upcoming week.

Sincerely, not... I'm organizing my wedding, so I'm quite busy in other things. I'll let you know as soon I'll try

Bye!

When you put path instead the true value, and you click on save button. the message profile XXXX saved is displayed ?

Bye

Just an idea:

maybe you know AutoGK and AutoMKV. Both do a really great job with transcoding to XviD and H.264 respectively with the help of avisynth and some other tools. The quality is absolutly great.
What about taking some of their scripts and using them for the transcoding plugin? The results are much better, I guess because they use the best of some tools instead of only transcoding the movie.

As I said, it's just an idea

Audio Sync Issues

Hi,

I just updated from .85 to .93C (whatever the latest release is) and now using a 2 pass ffmpeg profile using 768kbit video & 96kbit mp3 audio I get audio sync issues. It's out of sync on my recently trancoded files by 2-5 seconds it appears from looking at lips. This is a great plug in but it must be something with my audio config or??? I'm using the NVidia Video + Audio codec if that matters for recording on TVE3.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I didn't have this issue before but I also updated from MP 2.2 + SVN to MP 2.3 RC1 +SVN at the same time as I upgraded the transcoder plugin.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

it is a good idea, but for me it is more simple if you define with more details which feature (from AutoGK or AutoMKv, etc ...) we need in transcoding plugin ?

Best Regards
Fabrice

Well, there are not really any features I miss, it's more the transcoding process.
With AutoMKV I select the encoder, the target size and some options (like keep aspect ratio) and if I press encoding it's building all the script which are needed for avisynth, virtualdub and so on.
I encoded a 2GB movie down to 300MB and the quality was still very good.

So what I suggest is to rebuild the different quality settings - that the transcoding plugin already has - with e.g. AutoMKV, take the created scripts and instead of just calling the encoder, call avisynth with the scripts, etc.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. My english is a little bit weird today.

Just a minor issue with 0.9RC3: the setting "Transcode process priority" is not saved.
I change it from "BelowNormal" to "Normal", click close and then OK in MediaPortal Setup. But after reentering the plugin settings it still shows "BelowNormal". Can someone confirm this?

HI just tested the iPod profile and it does not work. Itunes wont accept it

I found a few bugs in the screen:

1 lose the path: it can get too long
    2 the right corner overlap
    3 the cancel button
4 the option to specify a different output folder does not work

This Ipod FF profile work at commandline:

    ffmpeg -vcodec xvid -b 1500 -qmin 3 -qmax 5 -bufsize 4096 -g 300 -acodec aac -ab 96 -ac 2 -i test.avi -s 320×240 -aspect 16:9 test.mp4

I would like the option to ignore all default settings and just enter all commandline commands
