does the FANART download to a different directory?

i usually put my fanart in:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Fan Art


the automatically downloaded ones are in:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Fan Art\fanart\original

Your directories are correct, but the auto fanart takes precedence. It will only use the manual-dropped in fanart if there no auto fanart exists for that series.

Pres F9 on a series, select Options then ensure Random Fanart is ON.

The configuration has a different setting to control random artwork (which is for season / series banners).

any chances of offering a mpi of a stable release for the upcoming mp 1.0.2??

My extensions plugins is working pretty good and new users would benefit alot of having tvseries available from there.

none taken, but i think is a good moment as tvseries is working very nice and mp is also doing great.

Yeah i know. And the MP team want this to be the way of using plugins. Their new plans for the plugin system is indeed very nice. Easier for everybody.

I think i got a working version now.. Just looking for a logo or some sort of that.

Here's a working version for MP 1.01

Warning if installed under stable 1.01 and over. No logo, couldn't figure out to make one. Tried png/jpg size 32x32 / 16x16, but not working. The default skin isn't choosed - so remember to choose one.


Nothing fansy at all.. Tell me what you think (hope it's okay to make one?)

Thanks, I would remove the skin select dialog. Its misleading to a user as it displays all skins installed on your system and not whats in the MPI package. People might come here raising questions why doesnt it work with my skin etc

I see your point, but should it installed default skin automatically or how would you recommend to do it? If an unsupportet skin is choosen it will copy the same files as in the default skin into your skin directory.
