MP-TVSeries v4.3.6 Release [2020-01-24] (14 Viewers)

When i use MPTVSeries 4.3.4.0 with Mediaportal 1.23 i can use the Artwork Chooser with the Titan Skin. But some Seasons shows me not the Season Poster, I see the Series Poster.
As example the Series 24. Season 1-4 + 7-9 shows me the Season Poster correctly, in Season 5+6 i see the Series Poster. The same with the Series Homeland. Season 1-5 shows me the correct Season Poster, Season 6+7 shows me the Series Poster. The Season Posters are in the Artwork Folder. I can download them and select the Season Poster, but seeing is the Series Poster.
For the Test i also delete the Api Cache Folder. The same.
When i use 4.3.4.5 or 4.3.4.6 Beta, Mediaportal chrashes wenn I use Artwork Chooser, Season Poster and want select a thumb. Is the same feel i do Alt+F4

Sorry for my bad english, i hope someone knows what i mean.

tldr: In DefaultWide HD i can´t use Season Poster change. Nothing happens when i select this with the newest Beta. Change Fanart works.

This sounds like the TVDb API does not have the season posters in the response (even if previously downloaded).

Can you attach a debug log of tvseries, mediaportal and error logs after crash.

Hi @Stichler_1, the error is due to a GDI+ out of memory error.

I have reduced the image size for series/season posters to 75% when loading them into the facade...can you see if it fixes the issue, if not please re-attach your logs and will look further.

Also please ensure you have the latest video card drivers installed / windows updates etc.

Hello, i have test this Betas on 2 PC`s.
My Gaming PC is a Intel I7-7700 with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a Geforce RTX 2080 Video Card
My HTPC is a Intel I5-4690 with 16GB DDR3 RAM and a Geforce GTX 970
Both Systems has the newest Driver and Windows Update (WIN10 Pro) installed.

With the New Beta 4.3.4.7 on both PC`s Mediaportal crashes when i select a File for download.
I have tested with a lot of series. When a file is select or local available (from earlier Installation) i can change between these Files, all is ok.
When i marking a File to Download (look the Picture), then Mediaportal crashes.
It happen with all 3 Provider (THETVDB; Themoviedb and Fanart.tv)

I will test the lastest MPTV Series Beta, tomorrow with the new 1.24 Pre Release, there is a fix for [MP1-4982] - Remove hard stop when Caching Graphics not found folders.
Perhaps this will help.....

The MediaPortal code in question calls an external function:

An error occurred while loading a picture with GdipLoadImageFromFile function when I tried to open a damaged file.

PS: In MP 1.22 and latest TV Series beta i dont have mediainfo icons at all... In DB mediainfo present, in GUI - empty. Bug? Or?

Hey [emoji4] not sure why it happened and strange about the crash because his hardware looks at the top.
Good idea to try to catch this error, it will surely avoid the crash, now why it happened? Image not fully ready to be load like corrupt?

Google say, Such a problem may be in 32 bit systems due to the garbage collector, but in 64 bit systems this is almost never encountered. Maybe we should think about how to translate the Media Portal to 64 bits.
[other] - Mediaportal in 64 bit?
