I just tried your fix anyway and it indeed doesn't fix my freeze/crash after standby. Straight after I enabled worldweather plugin and sleep/wake up the problem occurs again.
So you're at a point were you can easily reproduce your problem.
WorldWeather enabled = freeze, WorldWeather disabled is no issues after resume?
I'm curious, have you tried letting it sit in frozen mode for 5 till 10 minutes? To see if it unfreezes itself after a while?
And what happens when you install/test with WorldWeather Lite?

Almost correct, Worldweather enabled is almost always a freeze, sometimes it works fine but I think about 1 of 3 times it freezes. When Worldweather is disabled there is no issue after resume.

I've waited 10 minutes after a freeze but nothing happens.

Haven't tried worldweather lite yet, thank you for the hint will give it a try.

Update: installed worldweather lite, but this doesn't have the weather next to the date in the titan skin, to be honest this was really the reason for installing these weather plugins for me. However I will test if this one doesn't crash.

Update 2: Also with Worldweather lite it freezes sometimes after standby. Exactly the same:"No internet screen of world weather"

    And the fix :)
It got better, but partly only.

    1. I send MePo into Standby by using the Titan MePo closing menu and select "Standby"
    2. A key press wakes up the PC and MePo is coming back in full Screen mode - no black screen this time

Unfortunately the Screen is coming back with the closing dialogue line locked: the line where you can select restart/shutdown/Close MePo. It does not react to any key presses.

If you try with the tools does it work correctly (so not using the titan menu), if i'm not wrong from the log, it's better now and resume are handled maybe it's another issue caused by wolmgr or PS++, can you try to disable those too (for the real standby) ?
    Thanks :)

    And the fix :)

So to be short : MP need to send a delayed resume message to itself but for this MP need to be focused and it's here the main issue, MP is or is not focused sometimes and lead to MP freezed and can't be recover.

The fix get the correct window handle and send the message even if MP is not focused :)
I think yuo were right about this issue is different from the one I started this thread about. I just tried your fix anyway and it indeed doesn't fix my freeze/crash after standby. Straight after I enabled worldweather plugin and sleep/wake up the problem occurs again.

Can you try with the tools too if it give the same result ?

1 - Drag the arrow onto MP windowed and send message

    2- Send ResumeAutomatic

    3- Send ResumeSuspend

Does MP works ? here you simulate a stanbdy without really standby your PC but MP feel it's real.
After that, you can disconnect internet after step1 (so when resuming, you should get the no internet message)

    Thanks :)

    @Sebastiii ,

I just wanted to run the new tests and woke up the PC from standby. On the screen I then saw for a split of a second the black window in front of the Windows desktop, but then the standard MePo homescreen kicked in! The difference to what I did yesterday is that I let the PC go into standby itself, i.e. driven by the PS or rather the Windows energy settings. So it looks as if the standard functionality is re-established (y).

Wake-up from manually-triggered standby through the MePo menu commands leads to the described stucked menu state, however, this looks more like a Titan flaw than a MePo Software issue to me. I don't need this function anyway and was using it only for shortening the testing time.

    Many thanks,

There is one more issue: after resume from standby the remote is not functioning in MePo anymore. The problem appears related to MePo because I can for example control the Windows MediaPlayer with all its functions with the remote right after the resume.

This is not new and I had observed this already in 1.8. The solution then was to use the keyboard, enter into any submenu of the Titan skin and then change the selection. After this the remote was working again. The workaround doesn't function anymore with your fix. No idea if this is in any way linked to the incomplete wakeup of the MePo process.

It is a little bit off-topic but you need an updated version of the standard Titan common.time.xml. Either pick the one from WorldWeather or look in the WeatherLite forum where Micopolis has also posted instructions, which files to exchange.

I suppose it's because MP is not focused (that the first cause of the issue before the fix) like before the fix mp was unfocus for some reason, the power message was not send to MP, now with the fix, the message is send but MP is not focused (so i think alt+tab and select MP will bring the focus and restore functionality).

I will try to see if we can force a MP focus but normally it should be done automatically. :)
