Hm, I don't know, but is it really different from the WebPlugin?
I dont know what the webplugin can, but perhaps u could use the same interface? (server)...

http://www.mp-webinterface.com/mambo/index.php?option=com_otf_gallery&album=/Screenshots/

but ok, doesnt matter ;)[

this question keeps coming up, no, I can't use the same server..
PocketPC is a device with limited capabilities, the webinterface server is just not compatible..

Long time no see :)

Upgraded to RC4 and MPBlue partly stopped working. It loads artists, albums etc ok, but play does not trigger playing. Also now playing is not working for me.
Weird enough is that if I play a song through MP interface and on MPBlue push stop, it stops, but I can't trigger play again from MPBlue.

I saw the same thing when I started using later cvs entries. Something had changed, I'm sticking with RC3 until I hear back that MPblue has been adjusted for RC4

you need to copy server/mpblue.dll to the plugins\process folder AND to the Mediaportal root folder. Now, I never understood if this meant just the mpblue.dll file to these lovations or the server folder with this file, so I do both. I had it working fine in rc1, I think, that was a while ago. RC2 was a definite improvement (although music database had some repeat entries) and RC3 was better except the database did not distinguish unknown albums well. Last I heard there were problems with rc4, any update on this?

MrSensitive: i just wondering, if it is much effort to add bluetooth (parallel to wlan, so if someone want to use bluetooth he can use this)...
but U said wlan over bluetooth is also possible...

hm... because i am thinking of making a similar "remote deluxe" but with bluetooth.... hm... but on the other hand, why to develop the wheel twice? perhaps it is better to extend yours or to use the wlan over bluetooth?

because unfortunatly i have no wlan in my PPC... but want to play with my ppc of course ;)

you jsut need to have a network connection.
if you want to make one over bluetooth, its called pan (personal area network) have a look at your bluetooth stack, if pan is supported. if yes, the is no problem.

Ok, I have never really done much with bluetooth on my 2215 other than sometimes access internet through a dongle. I typically throw in my wifi cf card, but I'm wondering since this is a low resource drain, maybe bluetooth would be more convenient. My software is tecom (on the computer) and I have several services available: info sync, info exchange, fax, file transfer, dialup, network access, and bt serial port. I can also setup activesync via BT.

the ppc lists options as connect internet (done this) join personal network, browse files, activesync and partner with cell. I am at a loss on PAN, can anyone elaborate on what would be the best route to try and access MPblue via bluetooth with the info provided or do I need to dig more?

    Thanks

I used already the version 0.0.2 and was very happy to see that it remembers the server's IP and also shows songs in version 0.0.3! But anyway when I click "play" on a song which is shown in the music library on my PDA it won't start to play. But I always see the current playing song on the bottom of the PDA screen. So everything works but the song is not start to play.

Does someone know where's the error?

Thanks a lot and every day I enjoy MP!!
