a lot is going on in my life at te moment..

so not much spare time for the moment.

But rest assured, the project is still alive...

BigCheese, can you give some specifics about the crash? errormessages etc..

Hm, it crashes with:
MPBluePocket.exe
WebException

Application::Run+0xf
frmMain::Main+0xa

and thats all
IP is correct... i can reach my pc on this ip ...

on my PC the slim server is running which listen to port 9000!!!

ok, deinstalled it, now i can control MP without crash!
perhaps some exception catching for this case would be good

update:
MP RC4:
now playing is working
browse through the music list is working
controls is working

RC4 - does everything now work with RC4? I have not tried installing it.

no, the databases do not work.
however the controls do work.

what do U mean with database?
i get the list of songs with RC4... but haven't tried more...

The problem I had with the cvs' before rc4 was that you could see the songs in the database, but when you selected them to play nothing happened. Try it, does it work?

hm, i do not get a list of song, for me only the controls do work.

In my case (RC4 and MPBlue 0.0.3) everything works except the play function when I click on a song. That means music library etc works fine but I just cannot start to play.

I would love to see the plugin working for RC4! It's a great plugin and I use it a lot. I even would love to see a function to be able to shut down the Mediaportal Computer within MPBlue. That function should shut down the PC and close the MPBlue Client Application.

andinaegnaeg - I expect to find all these features and more after the release of 0.2.0 happens and new features can be aded to it. I know that the guys working on MPBlue have plans to make it work as a full fledged remore. It is just a matter of time (it is a opensource freetime based project) and will happen as time permits.

Please be patient, I know you want it as many people do.

Hi mzemina. I understand. I just wanted to tell my ideas and impressions. I'm totally satisfied with MP and really love the software! It gives me a perfect Media-System!!!
