I've read that it doesn't work with rc4, are you running that or a previous version? I stuck with rc3 because of that.

at my ppc, just nothing works
i always geht a exception and mpblue crashes...

any hints? i use RC4 now and latest version of PPC 0.0.3...
connection is made with bluetooth over PAN (i can browse on the webserver of my PC, and this IP i have entered in the settings of mpblue)

but, now playing shows me only the dummy values e.g.
and if i press sometimes on a button then it crashes

damn, i want to bring this project further... but if it wont run, thats not a good starting point

First off, I have read that it does not work properly with rc4, you need to use rc3 or rc2 until Mr. Sensitive updates the code (I assume he is on holiday as he has not answered in a while)

Second, I tried bluetooth with RC3 and I could get it to change songs or work off the music library (it read the library fine, and the songs played fine) but the now playing screen would not update. I used the method on the page I linked a few posts up.

The crashes I've seen when I try to do something without a proper connection. Make sure your IP or computer name is properly entered. A quick check is go to controls and see if you can navigate in MP.

ALso make sure you have the dll file in both places specified in the first post.

Hope this gets you started. Mr. S, hope to hear from you soon on the updates (RC4 and the database fixes you were looking at). I'm still using databases from RC2 for unknown albums.

the easiest way is to establish an activesync connection over bluetotth.

hmm, that would be a problem, a part of the communication is done over UDP, when a activesync connection is made, UDP is blocked.

I don't know why this is, but I can't debug this part of my code becaus of this..

could you tell me wich part?
because today i managed to create an activesync connection over bluetooth and i can use the controls.
i cant get things from the mp database, but afaik thats because of rc4.

What is the situation with MPBlue Pocket - Can I assist with the development here.
I am thinking of using classic socket comm between client and server.

With the version I downloaded from the first post I am getting the following error on my DELL AXIM X30

you have to copy the process plugin to the mp main directory to get rid of that error.

Wertzui, were you able to have it display info in the "Now Playing" view? I was able to get bluetooth to control MP and to see the music library (using RC3) but none of the now playing info come up. I did not go the activesync route, I attached what I assume amounts to a PAN method several posts back that I used.

i can only use the controls to control mp like i woudl do with a remote.

would it be possible to create support for semi transparent pngs?
