i didn't have it in the root, but i just tried then and same result. i'm leaving work now so in an hour or two i'll be able to test it on another machine just to rule that out. thanks for all the suggestions!

I was trying MPBLUE for the first time and I was having the same problems that EqualRightsForWerewolves with a Dell Axim X30 and WP2003SE. So it seems that it is not an isolated problem.

Ok, installed .net 2 on my pda, program opened (it didn't before). Tried controller and reading music library, music library went endless loop and controller, click function and get error. When I tried to attach to new server with 0.0.3 client, database still has infinite loop, but controls works (so new client also has issues).

Error for using controls with 0.0.4 - webexception , system.NET.HttpWebRequest.finishGetResponse(), GetResponse(), Services Protocols.WebclientProtocol.GetResponse(), goes on and on, let me know and I'll list them.

I have .net2.0 on the htpc, at least the one required for MP. I am running RC3 with a database built by RC2 (our previous conversations). I will upgrade to RC4 and generate a music database from RC4 if that will fix this, let me know.

it works perfectly on my (development) machine..

i will try it tonight on my HTPC..
but I don't have a lot of time right now.. I really need to finish some bookshelves, and I promised a friend a painting for her birthday..

Ditto on the appreciation. I assume it is something with the server, but again the old client works in the control pane, new doesn't work anywhere.

Again, I have RC3 right now, have you tested with that? I can install RC4 if necessary.

the only reason for releasing this version was RC4 support...
it can't work with RC3.. different core.dll...

can you test it using RC4? maybe it is working after all..

I'll test it tonight (now it's my morning) I'll upgrade to rc4 and build a new music database. I might be able to test using bluetooth at work, but last time I tried that, the now playing functions didn't work.

The others having problems, are you using RC4?

No luck with bluetooth and RC4, neither 0.0.3 or 0.0.4 worked. I'll try at home when I install RC4 there over wifi.
