Hey after the problems with 1.2.0 final and mpd 0.6.0.3 i have tried the new version.
It seems stable and also the repositioning after standby works
But if i have mpd2 enabled my framerate of sd and hd drops. Maybe its incompatible with atmowin?
if mpd2 is disabled all went back to normal.
Nice to see there is a progress on this great plugin!!!!
But ill think i have to wait for 0.7.0.0. hopes this major release will fix my problems.
Its so boring without my secondary display and mpd2.
The repositioning I've implemented especially for you
It's unfortunate that your frame rate is dropping, and the only reason for this I can think of is the CPU load. Could you check your CPU Load, is it close to maxing out?
Earlier we had problems with Framedrops too. If you don't have done it yet, you should increase your FPS under Settings to 100, where you can setup the scroll speed (within MP GUI).
It's just an idea, maybe it solves the problem?
is your System Spec. up to date? Is it correct that you are using Win XP?
Have you any chances to try it on a Win7 Installation? I think this is the Problem you have. We got this in the past that MPD2 is not running correctly on XP Machines...

It seems that sometimes it runs smoothly and the next time it doesnt.
My CPU usage are:
Without MPD2:
MP Proccess: 13~18%
Atmowin: 13~15%
CPU usage complete: max.: ~39%
With MPD2:
MP Proccess: 31~40%
Atmowin: 13~15%
CPU usage complete: max.: ~65%
Why takes MPD2 22% of CPU - thats really much for displaying things!!
I have tried an newer Atmowin version, which takes about 5% CPU. So the my CPU load comes down a bit.
Ill must revert my post, the repositioning after Standby doesnt work all the time. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt!
MPD2 is on the primary screen after standby. My Setup is as follows:
HTPC runs with a radeon 56xx series: primary screen -> tv and secondary -> touch monitor with MPD2 running
The power supply of the secondary monitor is connected to an Master-Slave Circuit which will be powerd up if TV is out from standby (to save energy).
* HTPC goes to standby (S3) - also secondary monitor looses power
* Ill power HTPC on with remote and also secondary monitor becomes power (but it takes longer until ill see a picture)
* MPD2 isnt on the secondary screen, its on the primary screen behind MP itself
Another Problem i have seen its that my USBUIRT isnt working anymore after coming out of standby. without MPD2 i havent any problems wiht my USBUIRT. Also Eventghost is receiving USBUIRT events in the background when MP+MPD2 isnt
