There was some talk about people wanting my emulators packaged with emulators.

Do people want this? If so what emus for what platforms are people using.

Personally, Genesis >Gens
GBA > Visual Boy Advance
N64 > Project 64
Snes > ZSNES

I Have added the ability to displa MP game plugins in this plugin as well, just by entering the ids from the respective plugins.

Xpadder has been implemented, and Daemon tools, theoritically ou can use an image mounter, so long as it takes arguments in the same way as DT.

I think i will release it for testing outside of mp before implementing the GUI so I can squash bugs nice and early

I would say let the people choose which emulators they want to use. For example I use Snes9X because it has a better sound emulation. (for example in Contra III)
I would say we should write a FAQ or a tutorial for starters. (it should also include how you make it work through MP of course)

Can't wait to test it out.

I'm very eager to test this out. My Emulators is failing me right now and I would definitely like something that displays more than one image for each game.

I have screenshots, box art, and title screenshots of every game for all the systems I'll be using on my htpc. If I can just browse to these directories in the configuration, that would be perfect.

I would agree with that. I know some people think that it should be an all in one, and that is a nice thing to have BUT!!!

the but is that there are just to many pc config possability's out there. What works very well for one machine may not on another. The emulator programs are always being updated etc, and it would cause more work for you to get the latest emu incorporated etc.

Snap thats what I am using for those.

One question I have is why an earth are people using ISO's of games (lots of hard drive space used. Game installation + ISO of game) ??? seems a very strange way of doing things to me. There are sites out there that enable you to not have the cd in the drive to play them ;) (If that is the only reason for having the ISO I would say stop being so stupid)

Anyway, BIG thanks for getting Xpadder in there it will be great :D

I am really looking forward to this, after my install of media portal 1 I have held off the emulator pluggin and my programs for games as I would rather wait for this :D

In fact, none of these have been updated for quite a while, so having those in an archive wouldn't kill someone. Also a PC good enough to play 720p movies can probably use all those emulators without any problems.

The focus is probably to use the mounting of ISO's to enable you to easily play PSX games or the like (which needs a CD to play) and not really games which requires an installation. Also (just a side note), if you DO have an ISO on your computer for a computer game I can tell you that it's a 99% chance that game has been pirated and if that's the case then you've already applied a "NO-CD/Fixed Exe" file to avoid the games protection.

As always any comments welcome.... Anysuggestions I pick up at this stage are more likely to be implemented early.

That is starting to look absolutely fantastic!!!!
What a great plugin this is looking to be already:D :D so much for this.

I know it will come after, I take it there will be a tab or something to be able to edit the game data and covers etc?
