Hi,

Can anyone of the users that has reported the "no sound" bug please test the attached (USE THE BLUE3WIDE SKIN) version and see if;
1. Do you see a black rectangle to left corner when started a song or do you see an image?
2. Do you hear sound with this version?

THIS IS A TEST VERSION TO TRY TO RESOLVE THE "NO SOUND" BUG AND SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED IF YOU HAVE SOUND USING OFFICIAL VERSION!!!

Thanks for the efforts done trying to solving the "no sound" issue.

I get a Grooveshark picture/icon. The same picture when playing URL in WMP.

I now get sound on 0.5 test edition! If I revert back to 0.4 I got "No sound" again.

So something has been fixed

Thanks for testing the "no sound" version. Glad to see that it works. I have now made some more changes and also removed the little video window. Can anyone of the users that has reported the "no sound" bug please test the attached (USE THE BLUE3WIDE SKIN) version and see if you hear sound with this version? If so I will release this version soon.

Thanks cul8er, tested the 2nd new version for no sound, using BLUE3WIDE SKIN
The the little video window is now not present, and the SOUND IS WORKING
Also fanart works, and playlist thumbnail....

With now being able to test mpgrooveshark fully, there are just two problems at the moment

1. search returns with 3\3 Pages , with only 15 songs
2. large number of tunes end before they should

Hi,

Version 0.5.1 is now available and I think it is time to remove the Alpha status. The plugin is stable enough to use. If anyone has made custom skin files besides the ones included in the installation package you should look at the included blue3wide skin file because some properties have changes (like for playtime, duration and the dummy videowindows size).

Please let me know if you find any issues and if possible add these the the google code site (see first post for link).

About the fact that some songs ends "in the middle of the song" or stops a while and then restarts: This is currently nothing that I can fix as the tinysong API that this plugin uses rely on windows media player and the tinysong flash object. These two components handle all playback and buffering.

HI cul8er ! i try the new version ...work great ..
and i see you inplament the playlist / serch sliding ...look great .

some feedback on B3W skin :
1. in serch the artist name is overlaping the "serch:" need to move to right little bit .
2. in serch i think missing 1/3 page , now canot know if the serch list is 4 song ,untile you go down ...
3. and maybe ,can cancle the select title on top (under the time) the title view nicely in the list , in my mod i cancle it ...

abut the track playing time is it corect ? 0.00 / 0.0 is the 0.0 corect or need to be 0.00 also ?

Thanks. I have found some more skinning errors. Attached are modified skin files.

EDIT;
These are now also updated in the installation package so only required if you installed the 0.5.1 version before 14:00 CET 2010-08-05

Hi Atreides,

It sounds as if you do not have Adobe Flash Player installed on your PC. Have you tried opening the url (http://listen.grooveshark.com/songW...ooveshark.com&style=metal&p=1&songID=23191647) in windows media player on your PC and see what happens. I found the url in your logfile.

You can use this url to see if you have the latest Adobe Flash Player: Find Flash Player version

I tried the link you posted and it worked fine. My flash player version is win 10.1.53.64 Do I have to tweak something in mediaportal for it to work through that?
