I hope my long absence hasn't killed all interest in this project. The new versions I am releasing are better than ever IMO. I am ready to start taking suggestions again and am working on some interesting new features.

Future Features

• NZB Streaming (Not impossible but difficult to get working from inside MP)
• Status updates on Home screen (Easy once I figure out how to do it. Also requires co-operation from skin developers)
• IMDb/TVRage Information (Also possibly cover art if I can find a nice way to display it)

Additions

• Missing Episodes now search 3 ways (S01E01, 1x01, 101)
• NFO viewer for Newzbin results

Modifications

• Newzbin authentication using HTTP Auth instead of cookies (Faster)
• Recoded Download Complete (Faster / Reliable)
• Items in queue will say "Paused" when paused

Been working on getting the code optimized and finding better ways to do things. The Newzbin authentication is much faster now than before when I was using cookies and stuff.

The Download Complete notifications are much better because they monitor the history instead of the queue so you only see the notification once its actually completed or failed extracting, also there is more information displayed now.

The NFO viewer was a lot easier than I thought it would be, sadly a lot of NFO's have that ASCII stuff and its not easy to remove because they put useful data inside ASCII graphics so I can't really tell what parts to remove. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

On another note, do people mind me releasing so often? Should I wait and add up a lot of things? I have had a lot of time to work on it lately and I figure if I got something to improve speed and its already coded then why not release it. What do you guys think? Should I wait a few weeks in between releases?

It would be awesome to have someone update the skin files. I am not great at the visual stuff.

As far as updating, I recommend it to everyone. Its good to hear my old versions are working so well still. Assuming your using a 1.0x version, a lot has changed. Many bug/speed/function fixes, SABnzbd 0.5 support, NFO viewer, etc.

Thanks guys, really appreciate it.

Now that I have my own sub-forum, please feel free to post your issues, suggestions, etc. inside the sub-forum instead of making this post any bigger. It's getting harder to parse and I think really good comments are getting lost in all the other stuff going on in this post.

I will start a few posts for different things that we can use from now on. I will try and base it on the structure of other plug-ins on the forum.

Update: I hope people don't mind but I am moving some of the questions, requests, etc. to seperate posts as it is cleaner and fills out the sub-forum so it doesn't look weird with a 1 post sub-forum. I only organized the last 20-30 posts, everything else is so old it might as well just stay here.

• Suggestions have been added to search
  • Blockbuster, Netflix, Rotten Tomatoes, Yahoo! Movies, Zip.ca

Fixes

• Saving to a blank category if you exited during category selection

This version will require updating you Sites.xml to the version included. It has new keys for the suggestion sites. I think this is a cool feature because sometimes I have no idea what has just come out on DVD or what movies are top of the charts. Now you can get opinions from a bunch of places.

This new feature works just like "Missing Episodes".
