Cool...thanks!

Hey thanks alot for putting out the fix. This file along with the file I got earlier from CHli pretty much fixed everything. Dood...your an evil genious..this skin is tight. It makes me want to keep flipping around the menus...heh. To be honest I don't have to scroll through the basic home menu to get to things, I can just use the hotkeys on my remote, but this skin is layed out so cool I like to do this hehehe. Thanks for putting in the menu loop. I've never seen a PSP before, I just thought it would be a little faster.

As for pointing out bugs...no problem...You have got my full attention on this skin...hehehehe. Even my girlfriend likes it(bonus). You've officially turned $300 worth of my junky old computer parts into a sleek HTPC in only one day.:D

I did find two other bugs for future reference.

1. In my videos- using the escape button on my huapaugge remote does not escape to previous screen.(i usually just press the home hotkey button to get past this)

2. Also on the plugins screen-it would be nice if the small icons at the top,i.e. where the "X" is for close program, the "-" (don't know what that does) that program icon(whatever this does it warns me that live TV is running"....also had the something to bring up the submenu that lists shutdown, standby, ect. I use that to shutdown hehe.

3. I can't get the your fonts to work even though I put them in windows but thats my problem not yours hehe. Maybe I should read the directions again heh.

I'll be using this skin from now on so I'll keep an eye for for other things.

Take care and thanks again,

sincerly,
Mr.X

copy the fonts to the WINDOWS\FONTS folder a popup will appear with a progress bar so you'll know if you installed them right

The escape button thing annoys me too, but i dont think its skin related you can change that in the configuration under remotes.

So you like shutdown buttons eh?.....hmmm.......

keep your eyes peeled.

ya baby!

You are fast drowhunter. heh. I just D/L'ed the update. Functionally everything seems to work now, even the fonts....ahhh, so thats wat they look like...hehe...cool.

the only thing not working is on the my video screen- when scrolling through the movies icons manually one at a time - when i reach the bottom of the list i cant go back up. That seems to be all thats left that I can see. ---- well done!

Thaks for the menu loop and shutdown button! much abliged.

If I may, i'd like to request 2 things for a future update.

The basichome menu loop is awsome but I think when you reach "weather" on the right it you should not be able to see the "plugins"icon directly to the right of it...there should be a huge gap like in ver. 1.0, but if you press right again while on "weather", the menu should swing back around/in from off screen, thus keeping the original look but just adding the new fuctionallity. - just my opinion on that.

also, the mini-guide - i liked the channel bars the way you had them- rounded, lighter grey and slightly transparent - this just added contrast with the background image. again just my opinion:)

I hope I don't sound like knitpicker or unappreciative jerk-- thats how I feel when asking for stuff like this....heh ... sorry:oops:

Love the new colors!BTW - red is hot.

Very well done skin! congrats on it.

Take care and :D again,

sincerly,
Mr.X

great, great, great, ...

little bug: letterbox-violet is like the red version!
any chance, that the colors change automatically when i open mp next time?
something like a bat-changer! ;)

After using it for a couple of hours now, if possible, could the video OSD show the remaining time counting down as well as showing already played? Also, getting the current time (clock) on the OSD is very popular on some of the other kick-ass skins out there *hint*. ;)

The .bat-system that you've created for changing skin colour is very smart!
Emph

Its in 1.3 Just for you man ...hehe

I'm working on a better batch script that will intectively ask you what color to use instead of having a different bat file for each color

so..you be asked something like ..
What color do you want to use
and you'll pick a number on the list [1-8]

then it will ask you if you want to start mediaportal[y/n]

I only wish i could figure out a way to animate the waves in the background. I fiddled with multiple fading ones and it looked screwey

great idea!
but what will happen, if mp starts for a recording?

if it is possible, the better way is, that anybody choose his favorits, which will auto-change!
e.g.: my fav's are red, gray, orange and violet (letterbox!). start mp first time red. when i close and start next time, it will start with grey,....

ps: my letterbox-violet is red! plz give us l-violet! ;)

thx

    Super!

How about you create seven different colours, one for each weekday and have it change every 24 hrs? I'm kidding of course. ;)

You know...thats a good idea. And completely possible,

all you'd have to do is go to windows scheduler (i think in control panel) and have it execute the bat file for each color you want for each day of the week.
