so..you be asked something like ..
What color do you want to use
and you'll pick a number on the list [1-8]

then it will ask you if you want to start mediaportal[y/n]

great idea!
but what will happen, if mp starts for a recording?

if it is possible, the better way is, that anybody choose his favorits, which will auto-change!
e.g.: my fav's are red, gray, orange and violet (letterbox!). start mp first time red. when i close and start next time, it will start with grey,....

ps: my letterbox-violet is red! plz give us l-violet!

Oops sorry about the violet thing. Heres a fix. Also included is the new GRAPE Color.Which wont be out until 1.4 ( kind of a preview...heh)

i've found 2 bugs: when i tune into musicvideos or trailer and start one clip or one trailer, i can't leave the plugin! also i can't reach the topbar!

still can't go back from mytrailer! musicvideos works!

After using it for a couple of hours now, if possible, could the video OSD show the remaining time counting down as well as showing already played? Also, getting the current time (clock) on the OSD is very popular on some of the other kick-ass skins out there *hint*.

The .bat-system that you've created for changing skin colour is very smart!

How about you create seven different colours, one for each weekday and have it change every 24 hrs? I'm kidding of course.

OK! I have officialy done this and it works
look at the screen shot

What you do is go to control panel/ Scheduled Tasks

or Start Menu/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Scheduled Tasks

Lets say you feel Blue on Mondays.

So create a new task, point to blue batch file in mpsp DIR
click on weekly, every monday at some time.

It will change the Background every monday from now on!!

do the same for the other days of the week and you're set...

NOTE. You will have to edit the batch files and remove the last line from each .bat file(right click then edit) file so that mediaportal doesnt launch automatically.

You also need to set a password tthe account that you use for windows.
Id doesnt work without a password. Go to Control Panels/Users and set up a password for your account

Also im not sure what would happen if it tried to swap backgrounds while media portal was running.

i dont think anything would happen..but who knows...

I went to my trailers and pushed the esc key on my keyboard and the back button on my controller and it went back..

is it a specific page?

the only thing not working is on the my video screen- when scrolling through the movies icons manually one at a time - when i reach the bottom of the list i cant go back up. That seems to be all thats left that I can see. ---- well done!

I went into my video and went to the bottom with the arrow keys and when i pushed down it sent me back to the top.

I did this for list view, Icon view/ Big Icon View

im not seeing this

maybe its a key setup problem?
