    Hello,

    i face a problem when suspend MP while watching TV. The PC does not turn into suspend mode, only MP closes but remains as a process while Watchdog appears too as a process. When i kill MP process, PC turns to suspend mode.

    I use last version of MPstandbyHandler with options stop MP & TVService enabled and 10s for waiting time.

    I am working on it. I still have a big problem with starting MP via a windows service....
    MP can't be run from a process/service with "localSystem" ower rights.
    .... [working] ...

    Thanks josh, I really appreciate your hard work!

    But I found a working solution with version 1: deactivated watchdog and reinitialize tuner. Found it somewhere in this big thread. Thanks to these guys also!

    :D

    Yes, you have to enable powerscheduler client plugin in Mp config.
    This should work, look at the screenshot.

    Fine. :)

    But the problem remains within Mpsh2. I will find a solution.

    Just tried MPstandbyHandler2 Beta05 with,

    On Suspend;

    TV ServiceStop

    On Resume;

    MediaportalStart

    TVServiceStart

    HardwareDeviceRestart for both TV tuners.

    Seems to work fine, however if you add MediaportalStop to On Suspend, MediaPortal does not restart, as you already know.

    Have added a Word Document with copies of the information from GUI log, and MediaPortal log.

    Will set scheduled recordings for tomorrow, off to try the latest SVN.

    I just found out, that my recordings don't really seem to work, because my system goes to standby(!) after the set time...(10 mins).

    I am not shure what could cause this, but it is related to the stbh, because it worked flawlessly before...and after deinstallation...:)

    cheers

    Just completed a couple of scheduled recordings, going in and out of Hibernation, worked correctly with successful recordings.

    Setup a situation where MediaPortal generated the no TV Cards available message, put MediaPortal in and out of Hibernation, TV cards now available. So it appears, that the HardwareDeviceRestart function is working.

    So far, so good.

    Will setup at least four scheduled recordings with enough time in between to allow going into Hibernation, but do not expect any problems.

    COOL IT DUDE, really appreciate your work, as I have already stated, if it was not for Your MPstandbyHandler1.0.0.10, my you beaut HTPC would not have the scheduling capabilities of a $50.00 VCR. BTW, say hello to Ray, Mr P Delusion, for me!
