would it be a good idea to use your service for all actions to Mediaportal?

I´m trying to explain...

You can do a lot of things before starting up...
After the Login to copy any files or start any cmd´s ...
So we should need a third tab.. "Start Up" and other command like "Start Service..." and "Run..."

Would this be possible?

hi,

I have just noticed a "bug":

The MPStandbyService did not start up correctly. The problem was caused by my eventlog!
The service has thrown an exception that eventlog is full and didn't continue.

Could you try {} catch {} this? It's a quite useless exception

Is it possible to add a feature to point out in the GUI the number of a channel from DB to turn on when TVServer starts on resuming?
Sometimes I have issues with scrambled channels when I restart TVServer.
So I have to tune first to any FTA channel and only then switch to a desired scrambled channel.

If it's possible, could you also make the same for PC starting?

I have been trying to get my PC to record from wakeup on Vista 32, MP RC3 for weeks now by playing around with Powerscheduler and Paranoid Delusion recommended MPStandbyHandler through another forum.

I am very pleased to say that your tool has solved my problem and I'm a very happy man

A couple of questions:

- is the latest version of your tool on the first page i.e. the attachments, or do you have to retrieve these from somewhere else?

- I have noticed my machine sometimes freezes up when I use MP while it is recording after waking from sleep. This is usually when I'm fast forwarding a recording or using timeshifting i.e. probably intense tasks, but it usually does not happen after a reboot. Is there any settings in your tool which could improve this?

The lastest version is always the attachment in the first page.

I am not sure what you mean. Can you explain it in more detail?

Hi Josch.hh,

The freeze up occurs where nothing works on MP i.e. the screen is frozen and nothing will get it out of that state i.e. remote or keyboard. I can sometimes go to the Task Manager and kill off MP to get back in, but often I have to reboot. It's almost like something is hogging the machine.

I think I need to reproduce the problem, drop a log file and post it up as I'm certainly not a technical person.
