I don't think there is anything like that.
What do you mean by "Normal Movie Plugin"? The Movie settings in Media Portal or another plugin?
Try using the plugin "Moving Pictures" for organizing, cover art, and maintaining a movie database. Its a bit more full featured then the standard MP.
As for multi-disk movies I am not sure how either handle 2 disks. I have all my movies stored on the hard drive so I don't need to swap out and find disks. If thats what your doing make sure you have each file labeled correctly.

Your observation is correct mate. Last time this happened the fires of hell invaded all shopping centers... this time I seem to be the only one in need - which is quite uncomfortable at best. I guess I should look for an alternate solution until and if other MP users realize they have no guide listings.

Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
