I JUST renamed all of my music tracks, and was happy about getting all the fancy pics but i found out that htbackdrop is down
I only need fanart, there are some singers withouth fanarts and that's bothering me.
So it is ok for getting fanarts?

Not really a plugin problem, but . . .

The clear-art for artist logos is working fine, thanks to you and catavolt's skinning. But the logo files are .jpg with transparency. I understood transparency was not supported by jpg. Before I noticed they were jpg's, I tried to improve several, using Pant.net, which read the files just fine, but it can't save them properly, so I ended up destroying the transparency of the logos I worked on.

Anybody know how to deal with these files?

After I destroyed the files, I deleted them and the plugin restored them for me. Nice!

^ random guess, would be rename the .jpg to .png, edit the files, save changes as .png, then manually rename them back to .jpg :p

I've noticed that if i force the a database update that it seems to drop the previous database and then creates a new one for the new music added. I am not at my computter to post logs or even know what logs to grab. Is there any one else noticing this issue?

Not sure what you mean. A full scan (ie. one where "only scan files changed since xxx" is not ticked) will delete any files / artists etc that are not found but there is nothing that will ever delete any other info

Im sorry for not describing better. I have the check box checked to "update all files after xxx date" I will force it to update and let it run and do its thing. I will then go into mediaportal or webmediaportal and look under my music and the previous added artist are gone and only the new imported artist are showing. I have opened the database file and sure enough only the newest artist are in the database and all the other artist or gone. The only i have been gotten it to show all my music is to delete the database each time i want to add more music. If you will tell me what logs to grab and where, I can run a simple test and post them along with the database. Before and after.

    Edit/Correction:

I don't know what the heck was up with my computer but i looked back in the config and it showed check box unchecked for "only update new / changed files after: xxxxxxxx". Deleted the database moved some music files out of the normal location. Deleted database and then imported again. Made sure the correct check box was checked. Moved files back to normal location. Forced a update and everything is working. Sorry for the mistake.

Not sure if this is any help but I've made a number of changes to www.theaudiodb.com recently that you might be interested in:

    - 14 different Artist Biography languages now supported
    - Most popular artists now have full translations (example http://www.theaudiodb.com/artist/112045)
    - Album Scores (out of 10 like imdb example http://www.theaudiodb.com/topalbums)
    - Album Translations also (example http://www.theaudiodb.com/album/2118223)
    - Top 5 track API method for each artist (could be very cool for some kind of plugin to see http://www.theaudiodb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7)
    - Music Video screenshots (see here for an example http://www.theaudiodb.com/track/32724172)
