Does this happen with both WASAPI exclusive and non-exclusive modes?
I have done no further tests, because i have noticed that in shared mode Playback is much to slow -> Logs

Is this fine using standard BASS?
    Yes, playback is working fine!

Does this work with cross-fading disabled? (gapless playback enabled ?)
Tests were already made with cross-fading disabled and gapless playback enabled

This is via Intel HD4000 and HDMI?
    Yes.

Can you upload a couple of files that cause these issues for you onto ftp?

Upload is in progress, links will follow later by PM!

    Best regards
    Helios

    Hi,

I will put log later, but it seems there is an error (if i do not reset music extension first). I think it was already reported :)
It could be nice to detect that and auto reset it ?
    Thanks :)

So, where are we with this? Bugs need fixing before it can be merged, or all good ?

Don't know yet about the bug from Sebastii mentioned above.
Helios seems to have a random issue in a special case which i still haven't reproduced.

I installed the 2654 build because I really like the idea of bitstreaming the digital signal to my amp. (WASAPI) I use a HDMI cable to connect via nvidia videocard (latest drivers) to my Onkyo 905 amp. However, quite often the music 'thrills' and not in the good sense of that word. It's like a very fast stutter. I've heard it on a variety of formats: MP3 in various bitrates, FLAC, 24bit/96kHz FLAC, DTS. (I actually almost never use anything other than FLAC, but for the sake of testing downloaded some other stuff) I haven't been able to pinpoint the source of the error myself and have played around with buffersettings, exclusive mode and gapless playback. Attached are the logs. The stutter occured when playing Agua de Anique.

    I Hope it helps!

The log doesn't show anything unusual.
I was only experiencing stutters with WASAPI Shared mode, when the buffer was too low.
But for exclusive mode, which you are using, this shouldn't matter at all.

Could be a messy audio driver. i had such an issue on one of my test PCs.
Or it is a resource problem. something running in parallel, taking too much CPU.

How the buffers are filled? Is BASS handling the filling internally or do we need to fill the buffers when BASS resuests? Or even worse are we required to track the buffer and fill them?
