Hey guys,

Yeah already supports multiple watch folders, big grey box under add watch folder lists them all, adding watch folder just moves what you entered into that box.

Will change it for a typed expression matcher, was trying to make it simpler by using radio boxes, but will use type in matching expression e,.g %artist%\%title%.ext

Actually will have a few radio buttons with commonly used expressions, and advanced for adding the variables yourself.

Hi metalla_nz,

That's an excellent compromise between keeping it simple for new users and giving the flexibility for more advanced users.

Now don't forget your assignments!

Thanks

Ahh i see. Yup having a custom radio box would be cool. Perhaps after choosing the directory and then choosing the radio button, an example file name will pop up below?

    Updates:

Have fixed up the matching expression, has a few commonly used ones. Anything else will require click advanced button and typing one in manually. Supports as many watch folders as wanted.

Parsing test file loads everything in watch folders as specified. Double clicking the filename brings up a rename dialog which can rename the file.

The parsing system seems to work. Have tested it a few times here, but the proof will be how it does in the wild.

As I said earlier have got all the LastFM apis together, and code to deal with ffmpeg. So from here all thats required is to do the code to scan everything and add that, and artist images, and thumbnails, and artist bios to the database.

If anyone wants to test the parsing system for me will be useful. Let me know and ill upload, will have to add some extra logging to that area though for the testers so I can toubleshoot any issues.

Otherwise will make a test version available sometime in the next 7 days for people to test with. AS i said, that version will just be the configuration. The MP gui will come about a week after the testing is complete and the config isnt showing issues.
