MA2 should use exactly the same credentials as when you use the Web UI.
so if the link to your Web UI is like this

http://127.0.0.1:8080/gui/index.html

Your config should look like this. If this still doesn't work, you may be using an incompatible version of uTorrent.

But what you are talking about is "Remote" not the Web UI.

No it won't automatically download episodes for you.
It is only a really basic UI which lets you connect to and manage your torrents.
It also lets you browse some torrent sites within MediaPortal, and also search those sites.
Obviously you can also remotely add a torrent to be downloaded.
From the episodes list, you can use the context menu to try and search for any episodes as well.

Thanks for the info ^^ now I understand what it's for....one more question, I have "hide files that have already been watched" option enabled and set to 90%, but whenever I play a file, even for 1 second and close, it will be removed from the list. I'm using an external player, Zoom Player to watch my anime. Is that the reason why it's doing it or is there something else I'm missing?

Yes with external players, as soon as you play the file it is set as watched.
There is no way around this, sorry.

Nope. I tried deleting the data base, and importing a bunch of times, but it was not including shows like Yu Yu Hakusho, Hell Girl, and xxxHOLIC (which I thought were pretty mainstream anime). Right now I'm trying the tips you just posted, I'll check back with an update.

Those tips will only help with getting data from TvDB, which is a separate process to getting data from AniDB.
If you have a lot of unrecognised files, it will be because the hash cannot be found on AniDB.

Are your releases for those series from sub groups listed on AniDB?

Sorry, I don't know what releases I have, but I am signed up at AniDB if that makes a difference.

I tried a re-install, after deleting the database and thumbs. But it doesn't seem to be getting better results.
Now I'm trying some manual associating in the file manager.

I'll have to try that, I seem to be stuck with it getting about 80% of my anime.

Did you have any luck with this?

Mine got through to all except 15 files which I am now adding manually. I was surprised that it could not find films like Akira, Afro Samurai or Fist of the North Star.

Open this file in a text editor and find the section

<section name="Anime2">

The find the entry

<entry name="LastGroupViewMode">6</entry>

change it to

<entry name="LastGroupViewMode">0</entry>

Can I ask which skin you are using?
