It will allow you to make backups of the database

Awesome! Almost there. Ok, so this is odd. I've got like 250 episodes of Bleach. The hashes are in AniDb, but MyAnime 3 doesn't recognize them. How can i get it to see the hash is the same without doing a (unecessary) manual link?

All of these are in AniDB already, but MyAnime shows I'm missing episode 1, and it's under unrecognized files.

Are you looking at the Utilities - Unrecognised tab?
It will show you the hash for each file on the right hand side.

Did you dump the files yourself? (by the way JMM Desktop has integrated avdump2 functionality).

If you have dumped a file, you can press the Re-scan All button, which will try and look up the file again on AniDB
You can compare it to the has on AniDB like this

Yes, that's where I'm looking. I let My Anime hash first. When it couldn't detect, I hashed it myself to make sure it looked right, then compared to AniDB. All 3 match. I did a rescan, i'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for all the help!

Ok, after 3 unlinked scans. That did it. Last issue is that in myAnime2, I have the correct episodes marked as watched. AniDB is mostly right, and MyAnime3 seems to be the least correct. How can I first make sure ma2 is mirrored to anidb, then mirror that down to ma3? Then we're golden!
