My Burner - now with Video DVD burning :) (3 Viewers)

Hi egonspengleruk and happy new year to you and all.
Ive installed MP 0.2.2 and latest SVN but now in MyBurner config ive got an error
saying some component is missing.Infact i cannot select my burner , can only see
the letter of the drive.Rest is correctly installed.
No such probs with previous MP (0.2.1)

I have a problem with the myburner plugin.
The plugin do something (like converting file xyz, etc.) and write the message on the screen "Completed create dvd" after aprox. half an hour. But the plugin never touch the blank dvd. Any ideas?

Hmmmmm....not sure what that is then. The CD part of MyBurner uses XpBurn which is some example code knocked together by someone at Microsoft ages ago. Unfortunatly your guess is as good as mine on that one......
Whats version of Windows are you on? Only works with XP I think.

I use xp sp2 with all updates. I'm logged in with admin-rights. Do you use an absolute path to XpBurn like c:\Program Files\... ? Maybe this could be the issue, because my installation-Folder is c:\Programme\...

Which program do you use to burn Data-CDs? XpBurn as well? Data-CDs are no problem.

My Burner and German characters

Hello!

I tried for hours today to burn my first movie to dvd.
At the end I found out, that the problem was a German character in the video-file-name. (an "ö").
No iso-file was created because of that character.
Is this a known problem or did noone before try to burn a file with such a character in its name?

Hi eagle,
i don't use xpburn. I use as in the plugin setup descripted the dvdburn.exe from the microsoft page. For data files i use nero.

Now i am a little bit confused. The screenshots on page three at this thread looks different if i configure my "myburner" plugin. And the myburner plugin from the download section looks also different. What is the right now.

This is exactly the same problem I am having.

Hi egon,

I tried to get the plugin work under mp 0.2.1.0 (no SVN) but got the same issue with one difference: the mp-gui didn't disappear.

Has anybody ever had success burning an audio-cd from mp3?

I don't know what I can still do to make it work. This feature was one of my most wanted
