My Burner Error in MP 0.2.2 ?

Hi guys,

I had the "my burner" plug-in working great on MP 0.2.1.
Currently I've moved to MP .0.2.2.0 and at first sight the burner seems to do its thing. However, if you actually try to burn a disk, (audio and video) it will create the converted MP3>WAV files in the Temp-folder, but at the stage of burning the MP application crashes completely

hi egon,

I did some scans on the internet and found different versions of xpburncomponent, which causes the error when i try to burn audio-cds out of mp3-files. unfortunatally none of them worked in the expected way. they causes different errors (HRESULT) to the origin issue.

my question now is, whether you have different versions of xpburncomponent. I've got a zip-file of a xpburn-assembly in c#. if you are interessted in, please pm me and i will give you the archive. it*s urgent because my sons ask whether it is possible to burn their playlist to an audio-cd

This was my first attempt at using this plugin. After going to bed while it did it's thing, I woke up to find that it said it finished the burning process. When I try to load this Video DVD into my main computer, Nero says the disk is empty.

MyBurner dont find my s-ata Drive. Nero 7 works well.

Can I make it workin or should I bye an IDE Drive?

Today I check it with an IDE DVD-Ram Drive from LG.
It works well.

What is the reason that S-ata Drives not work?
My Media-PC is compleetly with S-ata Drives and so i want to make it running.

My Burning plug in not working. Please find in part of log file line number 11. There is a slash character instead backslash. It cause that directory "temp\DVD\DVD_Image" is empty and empty is ISO file too.
The same slash character is in "copy.bat" file (in Debug mode).
I have latest CVS 2.16.2007.

(For Eagle) In prev. stable version of MP I had "My burner" making Audio cd's perfectly from my Mp3 files.

After release 0.2.2.0 I've never been able to get burner to work on any of the things (audio, data, video), it just won't work, it converts and all but no burning, sometimes even crashes the whole application.

I don't know if developers are still working on issues or not because I’ve never seen a reply on my posting way back, but hey that doesn't mean that nobody is working on it. I'm just hoping that one day it all works out fine.

Did you have a look into the log? This issue happens in the same way as mine, converting is o.k. then MP crashes. Havn't tried burning data and video with 0.2.2.0 yet.
