burn recordings from TV

Hi,

found this plugin searching a solution to burn my TV recordings to DVDs right out MediaPortal.
However, it does not find my .TS recordings...

So once again:
I am recording a lot of films and series on my hard disk from dig satellite TV. As .mpg had some difficulties (also see roadmap: empty mpeg recordings...) i switched back to the .TS format.

my idea was to burn my recordings directly out of MediaPortal onto DVD. The plugin however does not see the .TS files. Everything else works, I could burn audio or data disks...


Am I doing someting wrong, any trick??

my test case only created an image ~700 megs big ( i was only testing with a half hour show).

Is this still being worked on? is there any logs i can look at which might explain why this might happen?

MyBurner (Burner) - Works!

Just wanted to thank author for this plugin (and to let others know it worked for me on the first try).

My first test was pretty simple... a 30 minute DivX.avi from my TV-Series directory < to > DVD-Video disc.

In addition to installing the Support files and Microsoft stuff ... since I'm running StreamedMP, I had to grab the (missing) myburner.xml from the Blue3Wide skin folder first. It's not a perfect layout, but usable (no fault of MyBurner author).

I'll try some other file types and post back here when I get a chance.

I tried to test the Plugin for the first time and it does not work properly. When I start burning a Audio-CD it tooks hours to "Preparing to Burn". I`ve test with only one track and the convert MP3 -> Wave is done in about 5 seconds. After that the CD stops spinning and I have to wait... after 30 mins I stoped that with closing MP. Logs (here I have stoped that after 5 min) attached.

I use MP 1.0 on Vista 32 Bit (details on the "my System" Page). In the MP-Configuration -> Burner Setup everything looks fine. I have installed all necessary support files and they were successfully located.

Anyone an idea?

Data-CD burning: works
Video-DVD burning: works
Data-DVD: create iso -> shows "Completed Data DVD Burning" but nothing is on the disk

When I enter the burner plugin configuration in the MP-Config I got after 5 seconds an error pupup. This comes from the Gentle.Framework.ProviderFactory... i dont know more... the details of the error I have attached here.

you cannot burn directories?

removing items from the list removes too many..

how to set the label?

is there any other (better) burner plugin maybe?

I am not in front of HTPC now, but I think it is included. Make sure you are in expert mode of MP Configuration.

Does any one know if this plugin even works in Vista?

I just get the preparing to burn message for ever?

The Problem seems to be with the Microsuck's Dvdburn.exe and Vista . the plugin works great Menus,ISO building,etc ..

Will post if i find a solution
