Looks like a great plugin - thanks :D

Probably a fairly trivial problem. When I press My Burner, a dilogue comes up saying "CD is not writeable". I've done the "Click Me", "1,0,0" thing in the plugins config.

I'm using my normal Panasonic DVD+RW discs

    Any ideas?

Can you try burning an Audio CD for me? If that works it means theres problems with the DVD disks, if it doesnt it means theres a problem with the Click Me thing.
Several others have reported problems with certain types of DVD disks. Suspect it may be that for unknown reason. Really beginning to think that I need to remove the XPBurn code and redo it as it doesnt seem to like certain DVD's

I get the same message, mkisofs: Unable to make a DVD-Video image.
There is also nothing the DVD_Image file.

    Cheers.

    Try the following command

    dvdauthor.exe -o "PathToAndIncludingYourDVD_ImageFolder" -x "PathToAndIncludingConfig.xml"

    e.g.
    dvdauthor.exe -o "C:\temp\DVD\DVD_Image\" -x "C:\temp\DVD\Config.xml
    "

    And post what happens....

Audio CD comes up with same problem. I had alook at the Disk Info screen; It IDs the name of the drive correctly, says the Media Type is ReadWrite and Useable but says the Recorder Type is "CDR" and the Write Speed is 30 (The disks are x4). Max write speed is also shown at 30.

Ah.....we are a bit stuck then!
Cant suggest anything else.....going to have to find some code/app that identifies CDs/DVDs correctly.

Anyone watching this......do you know of anything that will do this?

    E:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Burner>dvdauthor.exe -o "c:\temp\D
    VD\DVD_Image\" -x "c:\temp\DVD\Config.xml"
    DVDAuthor::dvdauthor, version 0.6.12-alpha-2907.
    Build options: gnugetopt iconv freetype
    Send bugs to <dvdauthor>

    INFO: dvdauthor creating VTS
    ERR: no titles defined

    This is what I get.
Sorry for all the problems it's just that I'm running out of hard disk space as I recorded quite a few world cup games that I want to be able to watch on dvd.

    Cheers, Dave.

You will only get that problem if the Config.xml file doesnt have your shows in it. Does it still?

    Running out of ideas.
Can you rename that file to bob.mpg and change the filename in the Config.xml file to bob.mpg as well....and try the DVD Author command again

    Sorry, same thing.

Do you know of any other free ways to get the files to DVD. The program I have, InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 will make the dvd but the picture comes out stretched as though double widescreen.

    Cheers.
