    oups, import log in attachment
    Hi xcontrol,
as mentioned, If I should reproduce the problem, I need your config files too - and catalog file before and after update. Otherwise, I can't create a setup similar to yours and won't get the issue ...

For help and more details, see Wiki ...

    [...]
Provide config files (located in MediaPortal\ProgramData data folder):

    1. MyFilms.xml
    2. MyFilmsAMCSettings_[xxxx].xml (where [xxxx] is your config name.)
Change log verbosity to Debug (MediaPortal Config > General), reproduce the error, then:
Provide log files: (located in MediaPortal\ProgramData\log folder) after reproducing the issue)

    1. MyFilms.log (always!)
    2. AMCupdater.log (if importing new films)
    3. Error.log (if it exists)
In some cases your AMC XML catalog file (or export file if you are using an External Catalog) may be required, or at least the parts from it causing issues.

    Hi xcontrol,

there is no source info for the imported media in your catalog files.
    Code:
    08/01/2012 15:35:58 - SourceField :
Thus AMCUpdater cannot know, that the file is already imported (it is checked by verifying the path to the media file(s)) - and reimports it.
To use AMCupdaters import feature, you have to configure and use a field for the path to your media files. It will then be automatically populated and checked against it, if you're running updates.

I would like to have multi-source support when importing new movies, so we can grab the info from a site and the covers from another.
What do you think about adding a dropbox at the right of the fields, in the database fields tab, so we can chose which grabber to use for each one?

    Guzzi, is that possible?

... the problem is, that in worst case, you would have to select/confirm the movie for each grabber (script) separately, as many scripts do not use a common ID, like IMDB-Id. Taking a best guess also doesn't make sense, as you would get a lot of wrong covers - what causes manual action again. There is already the possibility to take certain info from other sites via the "secondary grab pages", if they can be linked wia an ID (like IMDB-Id). I agree, that this is not so easy to understand and configure though ...

My folders are named with the format
    Film title (year)
and I don't have ever to confirm any of them

Why? If you have a scrapper set for grabbing the picture field, I don't know why would you get more wrong covers than if you have only a global grabber

If that is the case, that would be the same using multiple grabbers, true - but it doesn't apply in general.

The same, when same rules are applied. I'd suggest to put that on google tracker - I will have a look when working on AMCupdater part again - very busy currently with MF plugin ...

Oups, sorry for my ignorance... you're right, source field completed resolve my issue:oops:
