In my skin MediaStream it doesn't show the music-overlay when watching pictures in full-screen, is this what you mean?
If yes, then it is a skin-related problem.
My Pictures also includes videos. (1 Viewer)

How could that be a skin error if the normal pictures work but this special version doesn´t? There is no change to the overlays.
BTW: Just tested it with your skin - doesn´t work either....

Ok...so it's only the special version, sorry. Must be a bug as you say...

Ok, here comes the new version.
It's some kind of a redesign, based of current SVN and therefore done from scratch.
Like the "old" plugin it just replaces the current pictures plugin so installation instructions are:
1) copy the .dll to <your mp dir>\plugins\windows
2) Add e.g. ".mov" to your extensions in MyPictrues in MP Configuration
That's it !
So far it works fine for me. Tried:
- clicking directly on a movie,
- navigating through the folder with <left>,<right> arrow keys while in Slideshow
- playing a slideshow
Please give feedback...

I have about 30 AVI-files that plays back in "My Videos" but not in the modified "My Pictures".
it just shows a black screen. Do you have any logging enabled in the plugin, up so I can send the log?

Audio: PCM 44100Hz stereo 1411Kbps [Audio 1]
It also plays fine in Media Player Classic HC. It uses the MJPEG decompressor.

You could post your mediaportal.log so i can check what's wrong
Logs attached. I can see that the player uses Haali mediasplitter and FFDShow when playing the file from "My Videos", but none of these icons becomes visible from "My Pictures".

Great to see a new version out Gemx! Unfortunately I can't test it because I'm using MP 1.0.2 Have you been able to get the thumbnail views to work? If not, do you think you will be able to?
No, I can play all formats through MyVideos, never had a problem there. I'll have a look at the points you mentioned though, maybe it will help with this plugin, cheers.
