MyPrograms or MyEmulators? (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Well to be honest it is down to yourself. I did quite a lot of seting up in either and I did like the simplicity of MY Emulators.
I went down a slightly different route in the end and use Both
The main reason is that I wanted to keep my pc games and Emulators totally seperate in the scrolling menu's in MP front end.
The other reason is that I have My Programs alt setup to launch PC games, applications, browsers etc. The functions and features in My Programs Alt are great for all this
Just that with Emulators having so many roms etc I didn't want to clutter everything up in one pluggin doing it all.

I managed to have my emulators to be in the caegory "Games" instead, thats because its actually game related..
A also have my other PC games in that category but thats only two for the moment so it works fine for me....
About My Programs...... that one is empty for me, dont know what to use it for yet. Got some ideas?

Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
