i don't use MCE Remote. I'm using IMON where i've set up a specific keyboard key or shortcut.

Maybe I can help for IMON-users:

I did it this way:

1. In MP Plugin configuration I chose Action_Type "ACTION_TOGGLE_MUSIC_GAP" wich I don't need at all. This Function is normally mapped to Keyboard "G" inside MP.

2. In IMON Manager I now defined a function called "SleepTimer", using Keybord "G" and mapped it to the "Timer"-key on my remote. Works perfect and has even the right keyname on the remote control

Never heard about this function though.

Nope and don't want to, btw just trying the video\music shutdown after file finished playing, whizzy.

Will highly recommend for any MP installation that requires the owner to sleep

Ok now for the problems

With this plugin enabled, i seem to be getting the equivalent of a double keypress on the back button.

2 examples, go into mymovies, select a file, use i button to bring up menu, select imdb\refresh, now try going back to list of videos, you cannot, it takes you to home screen.
Live fullscreen TV running, use the back button, should take you to TVHome, but again takes you to homescreen.

All of above works correctly with plugin disabled, This was tested with both Vista and XP and was totally repeatable on both with the latest mpi version.

Hope it's something simple to fix, and can another user confirm above happening to them also.

Hi!

Thanks for the great plugin. Works like a charme if i set a keyboard key.

stupid i am ... if i try to use the yellow button nothing happens
the settings in the config "remote microsoft" is exactly the same as shown in the picture some posts before???

Have finally gotten a few minutes to try this out. I cannot seem to find any way to get the plugin to start from my remote (Hauppage), have tried connecting it to a lot of different buttons, but none of them trigger it :-(

Does anyone know how to set this up to work with the Hauppage-remote ?
