I have problems with "my torrents" and 0.2.3.0 RC3.
I can't edit, add or delete rss feeds from configuration menu.

I am having the same problem with the stable release that just came out. When I click configure on "My Podcasts", "My Torrents" or "My uTorrent" I get an error that says
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Could not load type 'MediaPortal.Profile.Settings' from assembly 'Core, Version=0.2.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

I've searched for this error but I have not found any other threads about it. When I click continue on podcasts or torrents the configuration page does load and I can add feeds, however when I click OK to be finished with the configuration I just get the error again and this time the continue button doesn't get me anywhere. I can't get into the uTorrent configuration at all.

Just a tip: If you are using uTorrent on a different box.

1. Share the AutoLoad-folder as something

2. Create a cmd-file with this line:
copy %1 \\SERVER\Torrents_AutoLoad

3. Associate .torrent-files with that cmd-file

Done. :)

Small bug: I have a torrent in uTorrent that is forced to start and status is downloading. The icons & text in the plugins shows the torrent as seeding (still at XX %).

Having problems with Revision3 feeds

I'm having problems with the revision3 podcast feeds.

For example, the feed for Tekzilla is http://revision3.com/tekzilla/feed/quicktime-high-definition/

There is no direct file, but the output is rss xml.

Here's the error information:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at c3o.Framework.Web.RssReader.GetRssHeader(XmlDocument xml)
at MediaPortal.GUI.Rss.RssBaseSetupForm.AddRssTree(XmlDocument xml)


EDIT: I found the fix. You gotta love open source. Where can the changes be checked in?

In RSSReader.cs make the following changes:

Change:

I can't select any of the menu buttons except the view as button in my torrents.
Im using latest mediaportal svn and using the xface skin.. I also tried both MyTorrents 0.2.3.0 and the SVN.. I also tried maually configuring the skin file and i still couldnt get it to work :/

In the error log i got this exception:

Private tracker RSS feeds

Is there a way to pass in private tracker cookie data? This rss feed is using a .php extension and it includes the cookies to identify my IP and membership on the site.

This is an excellent plug-in. it worked great on the public sites. Hopefully I can get it working for my private sites also.
