Yodar: It takes the song info from the MP database. There's a thread around the forums that have some links to mp3 tag renamer apps if you don't already have one.

RaDiKal: Thanks for the info on the S3 sleep, as I've never actually tried it. I'll look into it further. As for the volume adjustment, it's that way because it's called Volume Reduction, so the left most slider is no reduction and right most is maximum. It's not absolute volume, but a percentage, as I wanted to maintain the global volume settings. The volume should return after the timeout though.

Might help to label the two ends of the volume "reduction" as "Normal" and "Muted" for us nonintuitive types

I noticed that the volume reduction setting is reset to normal everytime I enter config. This causes me to lose the setting when I go in to do other myVoice config changes unless I reset it each time. I am using the default myVoice config - is that the reason?

what gives with the insufficient memory error?
have 2 gigs of memory-is it talking virtual memory?

dwoodzz: do you have your page file turned off by chance? I've never actually seen that message, although I run 2GB as well. In the config, try turning off some of the mp3 parsing options to see if that helps.

I have run into insufficient memory errors when I've restarted the visualization many times (I run milkdrop). In my case it would just DTP (drop to desktop - exit without warning or logging). You might have a different module with a memory leak. It might be worth trying it after a cold boot (shutdown/powerdown/powerup) and see if that works.

Secondly, I'm having problems getting it to work with MP 0.2.3.0 RC2 with svn 10-02-2007. I cannot open the configuration for the myvoice process plugin. I get the following error:

Machismo: Just tried myself against the same SVN and I get the same thing. I looked at the database structure and it changed quite a bit, so that's why it won't work. I'm not sure when I'll get around to making the plugin work for SVN's, as I'm working on other enhancements based off the last RC when I do get a chance to work on it.

In general, when people post these exception messages, could you please put the text in notepad (or whatever text editor) and attach it. It makes the forum easier to read.

Hey I tried these files and I must say, it works great. One minor issue though is that the voices/sounds of the my voice plugin are also affected, doh .
I could mannualy adjust the volume of all the sounds but if this could be done from within the pluin it would be handier offcourse.
