Your second explanation (as quoted) was exactly what i had in mind! Good to hear adding this feature shouldn't be a problem. I'd be happy to do some testing with beta-versions. However i'll be gone for the next three weeks (vacation), so it would be after that (maybe just test it yourself ).

it seems the new beta version is done.
Beta tests here we come.

Enable in the setup "consider streams" and use MyVolume like before.
MyVolume will save the sound volume on a stream basis.
Example:
play a youtube vid
change the volume
play another youtube vid
MyVolume will load the same volume for all youtube vids

replace MyVolume.dll in Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process

is there a way that a time based learning mod could be included?
like:
morning , during day, after noon, night
and for manual control a way so tell the pc if i am having a party or will go to sleep in 30 minutes.

The time based learning mode sounds interresting.

But can you explain the party mode (maybe full volume?) and "sleep in 30 mins" mode (fade down the volume?)

I'm really not what you would call a c++ expert, but how can i help you make the editing?


party mode: full volume, but after 11pm only 75%

sleepy mode: yes fade out and not only to be set in 30,60,90min, but also after a movie / the next episode of the simpsons
