If you want the detailed version you should wait for ministerk, but here is the short version:

This plugin works by looking up the netflix website (more or less pretending to be a browser) and extract the relevant data to display in mediaportal.
If netflix decides to change their website, resulting in information being send back a (slightly?) different way, the plugin doesn't get the relevant information in the position and/or way it expects, thus resulting in an error.

hello, this plugin works great in new zealand, i dont know if its possible, a feature that would be nice to add is a search so you can find videos on netflix.

Had this working under MP 1.10, but things went pear-shaped after the latest OnlineVideos 2.2.0.0 update. So, I removed everything with a full clean-house uninstall and installed MP1 1.14.0.0. I've got most things sorted out except the mini-display and this Netflix player. I followed the setup and problem steps in the first post but still get a pop-up that reads:

Error logging in or loading profiles. Please try again

1. I've verified I can log in and play Netflix streams in the IE11 browser (ver 11.306.10586.0)
2. I've verified I have my ID and password entered into the site settings w/out trailing spaces or extra characters
3. I do not have any special characters in my password although I have an '@' in my ID (as I had before when it worked).
4. I edited the OnlineVideos.WebAutomation.BrowserHost.exe.config to set WriteDebugLog to "true"
5. I've captured a WatchDog set of logs (attached)

I've attached clean logs

Thanks for pointing out my typo in the site config. Now that I've corrected that, I am still experiencing an issue:

    - I'm able to log into Netflix and browse my list.
    - When I start a movie, I get the spinning circles, the screen flashes white, and then I see the Netflix login screen (fullscreen w/out a menu nor address bar -- I assume this is the browser player). No keystrokes appear in the login fields and after the timeout period - 20 sec - the browser player closes showing the desktop and then MP reappears.
    - I verified I can open IE11 and stream the same movie.

    Logs attached

:( I'm covering three different kinds of login processes in the browser already, it might be that you have a fourth. The only thing I could recommend you to do at the moment is to empty IE cache and try again.

In the weekend I might be able to take a closer look (enabling more debugging in browser).

I will try flushing the cache in IE and retrying when I get back home Tue night. If there are any other data gathering steps you'd like me to do in advance of the weekend, let me know.
