Under the "Documents and settings" directory, find the directory for your username.

Open the directory titled "cookies"

Look in this directory for the netflix cookie id file (username@netflix.txt)

Open the file with notepad.

Search for NetflixshopperID. There will be an control character (a little box) and then a string followed by a control character. That string is the NetflixshopperID.

Doug, do you have a new version coming?

Not right now. It seems pretty stable on my system.

I'll probably try it with RC2 or RC3 sometime in the future.

Please let me know any problems you are having. If possible, let me the search or movie causing the issue.

Thanks,
Doug

Search feature not working

For some reason, the "search" feature does not work at all for me with this plugin.
I'm using MediaPortal 2.3.0 RC1.
Also, I can't seem to get any of the Watch Now "asterisks" to display. Where do they show up and how do you get them to work?

Double check your netflixshopperid from your cookie file. Mine changed sometime during testing and I got the same results.

The asterisks will only display in the search results and the "Watch Now Queue".

WatchNow new releases

Thank you Doug. I can now see the asterisks in my search results, but was wondering if there was any way you could make it work Watch Now New Releases so that we could easily browse and Play newly added Instant Watching titles.
I found lists of them located at:

http://www.netflix.com/WatchNowRecentAdditions
http://netflixwatchnow.blogspot.com/
and
http://dyers.org/blog/archives/2007/08/29/netflix-watch-now-additions-for-august-24/

However, none of them are in RSS feed form so probably would not work with the plugin.
Do you have any ideas on how you could make it work with these or is there a way to browse newly added Watch Now titles that I am not aware of?

I've been looking at enhancing the watch now feature. The problem is that going and looking at the details for each movie takes some time.

Right now (in between looking for a job), I'm looking at setting up a database so that the user can refresh it when they want rather than at every request.
