This is probably wishful thinking, but any chance that this skin is going to be "ready" before MP 1.3.0 is released? The only reason I ask, from what I see of it so far it looks excellent and would be a nice update to 1.2.2 (or 1.2.3 when it is released) without having to wait for 1.3.0 to be released in order to have the official skin. If not, I will just install this manually and use it in place of my current DefaultWide skin.

As 1.2.x are only bugfix releases, there is no chance the new skin goes in there. You´ll have to wait until 1.3 will be released

And I guess the non-widescreen version will also need updating? Or do we have enough information in whether anyone is still using that?

I'm a really big fan of what you've done with this skin. The colouring and layout is fantastic.
I've just got a couple of observations:
1. This has probably been mentioned, but the TV recording icon is obscuring the titles on the top left hand side of the screen as per the attached screenshots.
2. My TV has an enormous contrast ratio (it's a Pioneer Kuro) which means that I can clearly see compression artifacts/banding between the colour graduations in the background and splash screens. I was wondering if it's possible to provide a higher quality image (I guess with less compression) to overcome this issue.

Andy has merged the skin engine enhancements into the 1.3.0Alpha_testing branch. I guess now, this skin update need updating for those changes, and then merging.
Of course, there may be more changes needed once Deda merged the 'MyVideos' enhancements.

Mark, I´m waiting for the merge of Deda´s new Video enhancements which will include the complete new Default skins.
After that, I have to adapt the changers made by Andy.
