The only thing is that the sub is a little bit small and high up in the picture...
Maybe thats something i can change by myself ???

As ive mentioned a few times in this thread, currently the text is rendered at about half the intended size. Teletext contains 25 lines, but subtitles are usually marked as being double height. Right now this is ignored, hence the small size and the one line gap between subtitle lines.

Right now we are testing for basic functionality and stability. The first things to be added will be the possibility to set default languages which will be switched to automatically (very easy to do).

After that i will probably switch focus to TsReader/Writer as bugs as they both have to be very stable before it makes sense to finish the subtitles support completely. So its only after that i will polish the text rendering and you will see a nice GUI for configuring the subtitle rendering.

Perfect, finally danish subtitles :D :D, now it's soon possible to put my MythTV Cluster on pension.

But how do I enable it by default, pressing L on the keyboard is okay. But I want it on by default like in my MythTV.

Is there an option I have overlooked ?.

    Greetings from Roskilde - Denmark.

You mean you want it to select the danish subtitles automatically, right? As i mentioned in the post just before yours, we are currently testing for stability and basic functionality of the subtitle filter, that means that luxuries like auto-selection of subtitles based on language preferences will have to wait a little bit until we are sure that it works as it is now. Its a really bad idea to start loading new features on top of something that has serious bugs.

I tried this filter today with MP&TVE3 SVN 16049 and everything is working great in Finland for YLE channels TV1 and Teema at least.

    Great job!

I posted this in a SVN feedback thread, perhaps they are related?

Don't want to moan but these latest SVN's (about 2 weeks or so) no longer work with the Cyberlink PDVD7 decoder.
Selecting this codec anywhere means that tv doesn't start, or it starts but no sound, or it starts but just freezes the picture.

This maybe to do with the new DVB/Teletext subtitle filter, I will also post this in that thread, anyone here using the subtitle filter and the Cyberlink decoder succesfully?

Oh and just to add, maybe Tourettes knows about this? Here is the error message (from the log files)
It would be really nice to get the Cyberlink decoders working again, it was the only one that worked with no problems on all my channels. Some other decoders made football all blurry or hang specific channels (history, xtreme sports) or make channels with no audio (animal planet)

Cyberlink PDVD7 worked with everything, anyway enough babbling here are the logs.

I had MP crash after 1.5 hrs of teletext subs usage on the same channel (dvb-s).

I simply left MP on and unattended while going out for the night. So no user interaction present.
when I returned home ...windows desktop starring at me :(
    MP had crashed.
    Channel started 18.30'ish ... crashed at 20.06.

    Full set of logs attached.

Tomorrow I'll try the same scenario, only without teletext subs enabled.

I have mostly used PDVD7 for MPEG-2 video decoding and met no problems with DVBSub (with any SVN). We have different audio decoder thought. I have used only ffdshow with TV (not PDVD). Absolute not sure about that, but have you tried to change it to something different?
