Regarding the teletext subtitles, i really need some more logs (especially DVBSub.log). The problem is that i cannot test teletext subtitles on my own HTPC. I only get teletext subs on some scrambled channels and my tv cards CI and CAMs are having some serious problems (not related to MP, problems also in other programs). Therefore i have to rely on feedback from user tests only.

To make my life easier, please provide at least Mediaportal.log, TsReader.log and DVBSub.log (placed in C:\). If possible it would be great to get a .ts file which causes the problem(s) you are experiencing.

    Please also consider this:
Do you encounter problems both with recordings or only when watching 'live'/timeshifted TV?

Tourettes, would it be possible for you to make another tsreader with the teletext PIN disabled based on the latest tsreader?
Teletext subs will be great but it's just making my system too unstable at the moment :(

Logs please! (see above)? Its no use testing the subtitle filter if everybody just disables the problematic parts of the code!

Btw, regarding the log files you uploaded earlier (with the "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {B9559486-E1BB-45D3-A2A2-9A7AFE49B23F} failed" error), that has nothing to do with the dvbsubs. Its just that mediaportal cant find the entry for some COM object. This might be because its not correctly registered or because it has a new CLSID. Try downloading Radlight Filtermanager and see what is registered.

    Hi,

Sorry yes I wasn't thinking straight this morning :)
Logs are attached, I trimmed the mediaportal.log a bit, otherwise it would be 3 megs.

It's possible that not all of your stability issues are teletext pin related. If all goes as planned the next public SVN build will contain one graph rebuilding fix. Let's see if that helps on some level...

btw. here's the patched TsReader, please test if it has any help. And if it's still crashing pelase test the 2nd version that has ttxt output pin disabled.

Could you perhaps tell me what the problem corresponding to these logs are? I dont see any immediate problems by examining the log.

Well I seem to just get random crashes where mediaportal just closes, although to be fair it might be my machine.
I am also testing with a client (my gaming desktop) and that seems to work a lot more reliably

I still have the problem with the cyberlink codecs though even on my more reliable client, sorry I am babbling but I am just trying to find the right combination of codecs that work with ALL my channels (with audio) and doesn't make the football look all smeared.

I am drifting away from the subject now so I will shut up :D

To make sure that it's teletext pin related pelase test the both TsReader.ax versions that I posted earlier today.

Ziphnor, I assume you are using Canal+ from Thor?
What MPEG2 and Audio codecs are you using?

I'm banging my head trying to find the cause of these problems, it probably has absolutely nothing to do with the subtitles.

I have cable-tv and no access to Canal+. I usually use Intervideo's audio and video codecs.

Regarding your codec issues have you tried downloading and running Radlight Filter Manager and see if things are registered correctly?

I've had those more after subtitles went to SVN (same time teletext subs came along). I know logs would be great but that behavour is just so random it doesn't happen every day. It could have been some other thing that was changed on SVNs that made it more unstable but I'm suspecting teletext sub-partion as I didn't get crashes when used tourettes previous teletext-pin-disabled version for a while.
